Great coffee and tea. Staying at a nearby airbnb and they offer coffee to the residents in the am and we came back for more in the afternoon. Very tasty sweets as well.

I've been coming here for years to get a coffee and a snack, camp out at a table, and get work done. The cafe is three large rooms with incredibly comfortable chairs and many small tables and plenty of natural light. It is mostly used by people working on their laptops, but it's not unfriendly to groups of friends socializing.... More

I needed, NEEDED Chapter House the entire time I was in college. It's awesome. They used to have this drink, Thai Iced Tea, and it was amazing, and I've never had it anyone else. When the owners are there you can still get it and I recommend getting it with Vanilla or Lavender black tea. Anyway, the music is awesome... More

Great coffee, good space, friendly, if a bit "cool standoffish" service by the baristas. Maybe I'm just too old and square to appreciate the body art, nose bling program - a definite possibility. Still, I always enjoy this place when visiting from out of town.

I stop in here quite frequently, mostly for tea. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The tea is always hot and tasty. I've eaten sandwiches here a couple times, they are prepared ahead of time, so special requests are nearly impossible. They are, however, fresh tasting and big. I've also had the pastries here as well - Again, fresh... More

Chapterhouse is not only my neighborhood coffee shop, I think it is one of the best in the city. They have wonderful specialty drinks but I have to say that they have the best regular old medium and dark roasts around. If you are hungry, Chapterhouse offers gluten-loaded and gluten free pastries as well as tasty ready-made sandwiches. WiFi is... More

I love coffee. I explore cafes every place I visit. Of all the cafes I have been to, this place has the best specialty coffees. Try their nutella latte, best I have had ever. I want to visit philly again just to have their coffees.

This place was my favorite cafe in Philadelphia for 3 years, until today - June 6th, 2014. The barista, her name is Michelle, she has red-curly hair and I believe that she is referenced in other comments in a not so positive light. Anyway, today I was inspecting various shops, books stores, etc in Philadelphia to find a spot for... More

Chapterhouse Cafe is super cool. It's eclectic and cozy at the same time. A very cool little nook of a place in Philly. I had a nutella latte and it was delicious!

We popped into Chapterhouse cafe on our way to the Italian Market. They have a nice range of cold drinks, even though the iced tea took awhile to brew (which we were made aware of). The banana smoothie was tasty and refreshing and the iced tea was good too. They have some interesting mixes of flavours and the cafe itself... More
