Wonderful food. For us a new and fresh perspective on tapas. Flavorful preparation of green beans with dates, almonds, paprika and lemon. Very earthy and satisfying. The Guisantes with peas, potato purée and mint was unexpected and so tasty. Great beverage/drink list. Service was attentive and not intrusive which I prefer. I observed that the servers paid attention to the... More

We met a friend from the West Coast here. We started with Happy Hour drinks of sangria and Tempranillo wine and ordered an assortment of tapas (maybe too many) for the 5 of us to share. Everything was delicious. We had prompt friendly service from Kristin who answered all our questions about ordering and sharing. My favorite presentation was the... More

Phenomenal wine, service and food. Our waiter gave tremendous recommendations. The food was spectacular. Each course build on the previous one. The food was incredibly complex and sophisticated. It was an absolute treat. The service was perfect. Overall an absolutely magical evening. Every dish was a home run. I will definitely return! Don't miss it if you are in Philadelphia.

We spent an evening in the Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia hopping from restaurant-bar to restaurant-bar for drinks and appetizers. Sadly, the bartender at Tinto did not seem to want to wait on us. He didn't want to answer questions about the menu and avoided eye contact. We weren't trying to have a conversation with him, we were just trying... More

The menu is all small portions meant to be shared. The octopus was amazing! The restaurant is dark and loud, but the service and food were great.

This is a wonderful small Spanish tapas restaurant. Great food and great service. They have a very nice selection of Spanish wines by the glass.

We went into Philly to visit the Franklin Science Museum. Afterwards we went a few blocks down the street for dinner. Tinto is part of OpenTable, so that made the Rez easy. We had the Chef's Tasting Menu, and a bottle of Spanish wine recommended by our waiter (what else with Tapas?). All the plates were great - but the... More

I came here with a friend on a Tuesday night and it was surprisingly very crowded. We ordered a variety of tapas, but they were very hit or miss. We selected the wild mushrooms, the guisantes, octopus, white asparagus, and crab. The wild mushrooms and the octopus were excellent, but the others were not so good. Given how pricey the... More

I was in Philadelphia by myself, so ate as a solo diner, this didn't mean they sped me up as often happens. I started with Jamon and Cheese, followed by one of the best Paella's I've ever had, it was delicious. My meal was accompanied by a beer, and two ;glasses of red, all recommended by the waiter. The service... More

We visit Philadelphia maybe three times each year from northern NJ, and had dinner here several years back. Glad to learn Tinto is as good as ever. We started with cocktails and some smoked almonds. Then moved to a duck confit and a crispy pork belly, two separate tapas dishes. We followed that by a rich chestnut soup poured around... More
