We wanted breakfast, not the usual hotel weak coffee, juice beverage, and yukky pastries - so we decided to "go local" and try this place. I had ham and eggs. You get what you pay for at this place, and the food is very cheap. Toast was supposed to be rye, but it tasted so mushy and horrid that it... More

We ate here every day for breakfast and had dinner here a couple of nights. This place reminded us of a local restaurant where we live. The service was great and food was wonderful. The price is reasonable. I will go again when I am in the Gettysburg area.

The breakfast food is very very good. So is the lunch. The servers are very friendly. West Side Diner is one of my favorite places to eat in Gettysburg. And I live here too! It is tucked in, at an old strip mall. When looking for a great breakfast, lunch, or dinner make sure you go to West Side Diner!

Tried a different place in Gettysburg seeking good scrapple. Perkins is our usual BUT they do not have scrapple (how can a restaurant in Pennsylvania not have scrapple?) Eggs done okay here But the scrapple was ordered crispy and was crisp on the outside but not on the inside, grill might have been too hot. No need to return.

On our family's recent visit to Gettysburg, we were looking for a great neighborhood diner. We found it in the West Side Diner. The menu and prices were very reasonable. Our meals were great. The service we received was prompt and friendly. We will go back when we return to Gettysburg.

We were on our way into town and happened upon this place. Glad we did. It was a pretty decent breakfast. We had eaten somewhere else the day before and had eggs that were totally under cooked from what we had ordered so it was nice to be able to finish our whole meal.

Convenient breakfast spot. Good food, friendly staff, and the price is right. And a rarity in Gettysburg - free parking!

Every time I come to visit Gettysburg, I make sure to stop in for breakfast at the West Side Diner! The waitstaff are so friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious!

We are regular customers who were treated very rudely on Tuesday morning 9/13/16 by the waitress, Becca. My mother, sister and I came in for breakfast and had asked if we could please have a coffee refill, Becca said to my sister sarcastically, "whenever I get around to it". We were shocked by Becca's response to us. About 10 mins.... More
