The start of the night was having a seat at the bar downstairs where the bar dates back to 1818. Drinks were very good along with the service. For dinner, start with the King’s Onion Soup - great flavor! Main course was the crab stuffed...More

Dobbins house food can be so variable! The last time we were here it was great...this time not so much. The spit roasted chicken was wonderful, the hot beef sandwich was so dry it was not appetizing and not seasoned at all. Yes we know...More

Robbins House Tavern is old, built in the 1700's, in a basement. Very revolutionary feeling. Staff wear period costume. The food is AMAZING!!!! French onion soup, house salad and spit roasted chicken is so good. Prices are very reasonable and portions are filling. Great experience!

We had the Ruben and the French Dip, which were delicious, but the French Onion Soup stole the show! Hearty enough for a meal, additional food was unnecessary. I could probably eat that soup every day for a month and still look forward to it!...More

Getting dinner here is a requirement whenever the wife and I roll into town. Portions are sizeable and prices are great. Seems you can make your experience as formal or casual as you wish. A small tavern in the basement seems spot on for the...More

We were in town for the Annual Remembrance Day Parade. We had reservations for Saturday evening. I ordered the crab cakes. They were excellent. Our waitress (Lauren) was very attentive, friendly and funny. See you in July Laruen (Barb)!
