In so many ways, Dobbin House is a very special place to have dinner. Historic, yes. Well decorated, yes. Great service, yes. We had salmon and pork tenderloins with baked sweet poratoes. Optional was a sauteed squash and mushroom medley that was also above par....More

Great atmosphere!! First come first serve so be prepared to wait. You get a pager so you can roam some. Well worth the wait. Good service great food and drink. Staff dressed in the attire of the 1700s. Pretty cool.

Wife and I ate dinner at the tavern and the food was very good. My steak was cooked perfect and my wife enjoyed her crab cakes and the French onion soup.

Just the experience was worth the price. It is in town and in the basement of a very old building. It is tavern food and drink.

This place came highly recommended but we found it to be extremely crowded (table placement) which prevents conversation, with average food and rather high prices. It's a reasonable choice but not outstanding. Our waitress said 'she only had two hands' when an additional glass of...More
