Reservations were made for us by the Brickhouse B&B. Seating was as good as it could be in this historical building. Our waitress Karen was excellent. The bread is excellent but you don't want to fill up on these carbs. Everything is ala carte except...More

This "Pub" is in a lower level of a building. I recommend it wholeheartedly. The ambience is of an old pub with stone walls, heavy wood, muted lighting, and excellent food. You may have to wait for a table to open as it is small,...More

After reading dozens of very good reviews my husband and I chose Dobbins. We both had the onion soup which was good, even though we had to send it back because it was cold. Not worth 5 stars but still good. My husband had shrimp...More

Mostly mediocre. For a "tourist destination," it makes a good attempt to make many people feel that they had a good experience. "Historic" menu embellishments and waitstaff costumes are not intrusive. And the building is truly a bit of history. Choice of entrees limited but...More

It is apparent by the tavern's rude hostess and the lack of customer service that they are only interested in flipping the table for more money. They know they have an old stone house to draw you in and could care less how your experience...More

Make sure you have a meal at Dobbin House. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is great! The basement is tavern style with the Restaurant upstairs. The history of the house dates to 1776! It is highly recommended.

We had dinner Friday evening, made a reservation and was promptly seated. Food was very good, surroundings quaint, service excellent. We would dine here again

Ate in the main restaurant our first night. A little nervous that it would be "touristy". It is, BUT the food and portions were excellent! The hostess was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Would recommend it highly!

This a fantastic dining experience and also offers a fun period tavern downstairs. The food is great and the history just simply adds to the atmosphere. You have to check out the slave hideout.

It was fun to experience the Civil War theme of the restaurant. The food was great and we had an excellent server "Ruth". There homemade bread is amazing. I really liked the blueberry bread and the apple muffins. We also got the cream of crab...More
