We arrived for a late lunch around 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The wait was about an hour for a party of 7. They handed us a pager good anywhere on the property, and we went back upstairs to explore the gift shop and exterior....More

A dinner at the Dobbin House Tavern is like stepping back over 150 years into Colonial hospitality with a crackling fire, candlelit tables and generous portions of lamb, duck, beef and seafood. A basket of warm muffins and homemade breads is accompanied by scoops of...More

My wife and I stopped for dinner during our trip to Gettysburg. We ate in the Tavern, which is located in the cellar of the house. The food was actually very good as was the service. We ate by candle light, which was interesting.

we want a romatic anniversary dinner at Dobbins and was wondering if there is a recommended room? I understand there is the dining room, library, study and bedrooms to have the dinner in. Are you able to choose for the reservation? TIA

Definitely make a reservation, and when you do, tell them it is for your anniversary. Specify you want the "bedroom" private location. This restaurant will accommodate your wishes. As a local, we used this very restaurant... More
