Friendly staff, food and service were very good. No complains about the place. It is like going back in time, a little, but it was clean and breakfast was very good.

Wow, what a great place. Forget all those 'faux' diners, Ernie's is the real deal. A good range of simple well prepared food at a reasonable price. But the food is a bonus, the diner itself is a piece of living history, and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Don't give your dollars to the big chains give... More

Can't say the food blew me away but it was decent. They are known for their chili dogs and while they are a really good size, I felt they didn't really taste very special, Kind of your average dog with rather bland chili. Also, stopped for breakfast one morning and it was a good basic breakfast.

What a great little place. Typical diner food. I had a Patty Meltand onion rings. The onion rings were handmade. You can get a beer with your lunch. Have a great bunch of people working there. Well worth the stop for a lunch.

My wife and I eat breakfast here at least once every trip to Gettysburg. You can expect typical diner breakfast fare, coupled with friendly service. Ernie's is also known for the retired waitresses who are often present. These delightful "former" employees frequently pitch in and endear themselves to the customers.

While in Gettysburg for a conference we had someone recommend Ernie's for a quick little lunch. What a great little place for a quick burger! If you are in a rush and what a good little burger and a friendly staff, this is the place to go. Plus, the prices are excellent!!! We ended up going back more than once... More

Nice little diner just west of the square. The service is friendly and fast. Not to mention food is good and inexpensive. Just wished the home fries were cooked more crispy as requested.
