When you're hungry and want a sandwich, get areal sandwich. Those $6 meal deals still pale in quality and quantity. If that's all you have to spend, ask a friend to share and you still get the better "deal." My last visit included a "Damon Bruce" and it was a warm, succulent combination of tasty beef, special sauce with horseradish.... More

I was overwhelmed by all the choices. I'm glad they have an accurate description of each. My sandwich was good but I wish they had more seating space available.

I come here from time to time when I want a substantial sandwich that is NOT a burger joint. The employees seem happy and work quickly. There is a huge selection of names sandwiches that would make anyone smile. It is convenient and parking is relatively ample, except when school gets out at the local high school.

Great, unique sandwiches. Novel drink and chip choices. Very limited seating; better for take-out. Service is efficient, so don't let long lines discourage you.

These sandwiches are so good. (Try the Matt Cain with its secret sauce.) The prices are a little high but portions are a rather large so if you can share a sandwich if you want to.

From the funky walls and the extensive sandwich menu with unusual names, I knew this would be an experience. But I fell in love when I asked for my sandwich on a gluten free bread and was asked "preference or allergy?" YEAH - the sign of someone who understands how to manage a gluten free order for someone with celiac... More

The first time I tried Ike's was in their branch inside Stanford. I was initially skeptical with news that the wait time for a sandwich would be upwards of an hour. Being mainly a rice eater, I was very impatient by the time I got my order (maybe 90 minutes later). and Yes.....I wasn't disappointed. The wait was very much... More

Ike's is a great new place in downtown Danville -- right next to the post office. They offer a huge variety of sandwiches, which are good quality and very tasty. They are all unique, not your run-of-the-mill deli sandwich. The place is clean, and the employees all wear gloves. The manager came out and introduced himself to us, explained the... More

Ike's lair Context: after reading glowing reviews of this local sandwich chain, we decided to try it out for lunch. I did try to order ahead online from my iPad but it didn't work. We ended up driving up there, arriving about 11am on a Saturday. Atmosphere: place is small with a few tables. You order at the counter and... More
