I'd been desperately searching for a good Indian place for months because the last city I was in had nothing. This place delivers! The prices are great and so is the service. They offer a wide range of southern and northern Indian dishes. I love the house special (karakuri dosa? (pardon my spelling)...be sure to get it with the potato... More
Wow! An Indian buffet (they also have a traditional menu). They had a large variety and most things were labelled. The sag was so spicy and so delicious, I am sure it is my new favorite Indian dish. Extremely reasonable and very, very good!
I always review restaurants on three imp criteria. Food, Service & Ambience Lets start with food: Worst! Worst ! Worst ! dont try north indian food. Extremely shameful that they call themselves Indian restaurant. Next Service: If food was worst ! then service is terrible. We went on 31st DEC night to have a dinner and thought will end the... More
Firstly we regret for the inconvenience caused. Ideally all our orders are served on first come first serve basis and also are dependent on the time for preparation. There was and will never be a discrimination factor at 5th element, no matter how difficult the situations are. We treat them all same. All the spices will be adjusted according to... More
Happened to visit 5th Element during our recent visit to Jacksonville. Though my family visited on a weekday for lunch buffet, we were surprised to see the variety of vegetarian dishes on the buffet, count of appetizers and the variety of desserts. Indian chai was an excellent choice. I was surprised to find at the end that, such a great... More
I love this place. The buffet has anything your looking for. First acquired a taste for Indian food while living in London. 5th Element does not disappointed. For me, best in Jacksonville.
5th Element was good but I think they could do better like not make the food so dry they cook all the moisture out and the sauces are good but just don't make it better. I am also comparing them to another place I ate at in New Jersey just recently.
I went for the buffet The food is very good. Good selections I tried small portions to see what i like. The curry goat and masala chicken (i think thats the name ) was very good. I went for the buffet around lunch time. It was packed. Thats says alot. The environment was clean and waiters gave good service. I... More
I have tried most of the local Indian restaurants and 5th Element seems to do the best job of serving close-to-authentic Indian food. Yes, I have been to India, so I think it's fair to make that claim. I always leave with a satisfied feeling, but again, I have to admit that I normally do lunch vs dinner here and... More
