After winning best pizza in Folio magazine I was forced to try it, 👎 I can't even fathom how or why they won, well Yes I can, obviously they paid for every vote, and best Italian??? Where? Mars? What a shame that real high quality Pizzerias get pushed aside because they can't afford to buy their votes, Al's should be... More

Horrible friendly service. Waited a long time for two cheese pizzas and they claimed they just came out. One was hot and one was not. There's another Al's not too far away on Phillips Hwy/Baymeadows rd. Suggest you go to that one.

So now they call them specialty pizza to overcharge for a meat lovers that lacked in comparison to a Philly or NYC pie. Didn't like it. Was disappointed. Don't try the Philly pretzel either... Yuk!

It's been a while.since I've been here. The food is good but the acoustics are terrible. Their pizzas and wraps are really good, but I can't deal with the noise. My recommendation is to take it to go. Not a place for casual conversation or to linger over lunch. Get the food and get out!

If you want fresh food, cold beer, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere, then Al's is for you. I've tried the calzones and pizzas and both are excellent! We take people from out of town (including me) here every time and we've never had a "hater". They are on the higher side of prices around town, but I think it's... More

Al's Pizza has grown on me the more I've gone. I've probably eaten there a handful of times now. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but its pretty good. We were there last night with a large group. Our server, didn't get his name, was really nice and quick to bring drinks. I'm sure it being a slow... More

They have good food and good portions on Monday nights. We've have all gotten different kinds of pasta, and it comes with salad and bread. Very filling, and a good value.

First visit for an early dinner - we tried 'The Italian' pizza and it was good; service was also good. Went back a couple of nights later to try their Veggie Sub (takeout) and the best thing about this sandwich, sadly, was the bread....at most, one to two small pieces of the veggies mentioned on the menu, on a 9... Al's Pizza was very good. It's not fancy but it is good. We had the calozone but others in our group had pizza. Recommended!!
