Lived nearby for years and did not know about this place! Stopped by for lunch, great service and yummy food. Had the stuffed grape leaves and Gyros. Pita bread was baked fresh--everything tasted great. So glad to have found this place!

Food was really good and the service good as well. Food tasted very fresh and hot. A must try! The lace was packed and full of satisfied people (I think)!

Hala Café has been putting out great food for years. My wife and I hadn't been in the area for a long time and decided to stop in for some Middle Eastern food. We hope to get back again soon.

I had the lamb shawarma wrap and had no desire to talk with my companion once I had my first mouthful. This is food to be savored. Had to take the leftovers home and was sad there wasn't more.

I was looking for a place to buy baklava and the manager at Public recommended Hala. It's not to far from where we live, so I called and confirmed they had several varieties to choose from. I was not disappointed in the restaurant/bakery/grocery store. A wide variety of baked goods, pitas and baklavas being the most popular. The store had... More

I always worry when there are several locations for a restaurant in town and 1 or 2 closes. How will the last one be 5 years later? Better! So pleased with the food and service. The restaurant isn't fancy, but I have been in some fancy restaurant where the food isn't half as good. After our meal, we purchased some... More

Great food atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone if looking for food from around the world (Mid East). Staff was friendly and accommodating!

I miss this place so much. Often I just stop by to pick up a pack of freshly baked pita, a pint of tabouli, and a pint of hummus to share with my mom. The buffet is lovely as well, if you have time to enjoy it, please sit and enjoy some fabulous dishes.

Tried the shawarma platter for lunch. Tried the chicken lamb mix which was tasty. The service was good. For dessert tried the baklava. Unfortunately it was made with sugar water and not honey. It was sweet but did not have the natural real flavour associated with the real baklava. If they sold the real baklava people would buy it! Good... More

This place has an attached retail store, with all the authentic Mid-East foods. BEST OLIVES I have ever had... sell in bulk with many types to choose from! Great HALA made-pita bread, and they have roasted nuts, and dates, and figs, and all the usual good stuff. Decor is a bit shabby, but once again, the food is king. I... More
