This is a Great place and owned by the church. The food is served to you buffet style and is well worth it. The Chicken is Excellent as well as the side dishes. It is worth trying.

Being from the South, one loves the charm and delight of authentic soul food with all the fixings. This place is not about race, it is about the traditions and flavors of a culture of people who are proud of what they cook and what Family and God means to Potters House- The menu is not for the finicky and... We've been to this place a couple times and went again this past weekend for a family members birthday dinner and celebration. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice table set up and our server was beyond great in her service to us. The food is usually nice and hot but not so this... More

I visited this establishment for the first time. I had the 6 piece fried chicken drumette entree with Mac n cheese, collard greens, corn bread and sweet tea. The food is served either dine cafeteria style or take out ordered via the same line. The staff seemed friendly and pleasant. The chicken was fresh and flavorful. A wee bit too... More

Good Southern food served cafeteria style. I've tried several items and each was a flavour sensation that brought back fond memories of my grandmothers cooking.

This was such a great place to eat. It was actually some real southern cooking which is hard to find. I would recommend anyone visiting jacksonville to visit this restaurant before you leave my next visit to Jacksonville my 1st stop is Potters House Cafe

My husband and I had a date luncheon today and we went to the Potters House. We drove over an hours to get there. The food was excellent, staff was very friendly, and the cafe was clean. Will be going back soon.

Good lord. The friend chicken, greens, and macaroni here are "just like grandma used to make." If you grew up in the south, enjoy southern food, or are visiting and want to taste the local flavor, GO HERE! You may be put off by the fact you have to walk in to what looks like an old broke-down mall, but... More

I have been a constant patron of this wonderful eatery, and I have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and you cannot beat the Southern hospitality. There is a very wide selection of entrees and deserts. This is very good comfort food. This Place has Soul.
