What a surprise! Heard of food trucks...this is a food BOAT...a bowpicker to be exact (for space sake, Google it). It's dry docked across the highway from the Columbia Maritime Museum in Astoria. They serve Fish n Chips-- Albacore tuna deep fried in large palm...More

Very good fish and chips sold out of an old boat. Stopped here during a brief visit in Astoria. Took 45 minutes to get our orders but for these lusciously battered fish pieces it is worth it.

BEST fish and chips of my life! They offer fresh caught albacore, perfectly breaded, I am not a tartar sauce gal but this sauce turned me around! No wonder there is a line during busy times of the day. Try going off-peak. This adorable place,...More

If you have the time to waste standing in line, it is definitely worth it. We waited 45 minutes, since we had nothing else to do, the food was awesome! I haven't had fried fish in years, and I don't think any other fried fish...More

I love to support local places, and the people who own this business and run it with a smile are five stars, but I have no patience for long lines and I'm not a big fan of this variety of Fish & Chips. I am...More

Despite the hour long line, had to do it!!! Delicious fish and chips! Amazing that this tiny place has enough fish to feed all the people! Go see Bowpicker when in Astoria!

Lots if quirky places in Astoria. Go to the place by maritime museum, it is an actual boat on land. Serves albacore tuna fish n chips, long lines at times. Ship inn has great food too.
