This is our second visit to this property. Like last time, this place does not disappoint. Food taste great, good presentation, and awesome beers. They also have some great dining options...downstairs at the bar, upstairs for pizza or outside for some sun and fun.

Seriously, when one sits for hours and has a few great beers, one gets to thinking: "there must be a better way." Ft. George has such a bevy of great choices, my wife and I sat and poured the lot of them down. Gracious staff...More

We both had the hamburger special and it ranked way on the low scale. No flavor. Sauce was bland, bacon was fatty, meat was as soft as the bun with no crispness to it. Fries were soggy - perhaps the wrong type of potatoes were...More

Had dinner here and things were not flowing smoothy. They seemed very disjointed when we arrived as to who seats you or takes your name, plus none of the staff are identified as such with either name tags or Company Shirts. When we finally got...More

During an unusually warm day, we were walking the town streets We found this place on the internet and navigated our way, by smart phone to this large brewery, pub and restaurant combine. We sat at the bar and ordered their very own ales. It...More

It became a tradition for us to stop by Fort George Brewery on the way to Seaside. We love that this place always has this positive "buzz" - smily faces, conversation and laughter, and simply good bar food. Clever beer names, such as "Quick Wit"...More

It was recommended to us several years ago by a fine restaurant owner who happened to be remodeling in the evening we visited his restaurant. From this point up we eat there every time we visit Astoria. This is a pub and has loud and...More

Great craft beers along with the seasonal beers. Very good salads and great wood stove pizzas. Love the views of the Columbia River from the outside deck.

Delicious beer selection, decent food. Looking for something different than the usual burger/pizza, ordered the chicken salad sandwich which was a disappointment. Seafood chowder was delicious though!

We've always enjoyed and ordered Ft George brews at other restaurants. This was our first time to visit their actual home. What a delight in so many ways. We entered the upper level from 15th and found a bustling pizza kitchen, a welcoming hostess, fabulous...More

Yes! The restaurant part of the establishment allows minors. I'm not sure about the tasting room in the back by the brewers, but the main part is definitely okay.

Description
There’s always something new to try from the brewery’s rotating taps, including taster trays, pints, and growlers-to-go. The lively public house offers family-friendly dining with made-from-scratch meals using organic, natural, and local ingredients. An upstairs Woodfired Pizza venue was opened in the Summer of '13 and operates all day on Saturdays and Sundays, from 4:30-10pm on Wednesdays-Fridays and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Beautiful views and woodwork. Tours of the 30 barrel production brewery and beer canning line are available Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 4pm. Located on the site of the original 1811 settlement of Astoria, the locals lining the bar can get you up to speed on the city’s past, present, and future.
