We visited New Years Eve and it was understandably very very busy so service was a bit slow and food may not have been up to normal standards, but I rate it highly because it was very good considering the night we went. It is very convenient to the Cannery Pier Hotel (very easy walk in all but the worst... More

Can get busy (which is a sign of quality) so either be ready to wait, or call ahead. Good food and service, combined with a nice view. We also like the atmosphere. With a vacation home in the area, we will be returning often.

We have enjoyed Bridgewater Bistro several times, but dinner was really delicious this time. We had puerco pibil and poisson st. jacques, both very tasty. I liked the menu options of ordering small plates and salads also. Our waitress was friendly and cheerful.

We were in the area a few months ago and had lunch here and the second time was just as good as the first. Started off as a sunny day to enjoy our meal from a window table and the weather progressed to rain, snow and back again to sun before we left. Enjoyed the special of the day and... More

If you are staying at the Cannery Hotel, this is just a short walk away.....great if you don't want to get back in the car to hunt down a restaurant. Food is great, server suggested beer pairings and brought samples for our final decision. Desserts are homemade. Great find. ....

We were staying at the Astoris River walk Inn and this is the closest if not the one and only restaurant nearby, so we went there for dinner. Even at 6 pm it was already full, but we were lucky enough to get a high top table at the bar. The restaurant is attractive, with high A beam ceilings, tall... More

Went with friends on a whim to check out the Goonies hometown. Brunch consisted of muffins and fruit cocktail for the table. I had fish and chips, my wife had seafood cakes. Both were great. They had live music, guitars quiet enough to compliment the meal and not over power the conversation. Selection of local beers on tap Great selection... More

Stopped for lunch on our last visit to Astoria. This is one of our favorite dinner spots on the coast so thought we would give lunch a try. The view alone is enough reason to give this place a try but luckily the food and service are equally awesome. I had the Mayan salad which was really different and delicious.... More
