Nice atmosphere but meal just so so. If you are visiting MD splurge and enjoy the crab cake or hard shells.

Native Marylander who had never been to Captain James until last night. We were invited to a private party on the second "deck" for the Holidays. Great appetizers and festive environment. Greg our server/bartender gets it. Smiling customer service the whole night. Dinner was good....More

We enjoyed our dinner here. The crab cake was very good. My husband did not care for the cream of crab soup. The service was excellent.

We had 0 complaints. This was one of the best Resturant's we have been to in years. Maryland has the freshest seafood and Capitan James brings it to you in the best way it can be prepared. You will not be disappointed.

I have 2 boys, ages 10 & 7. There is no children's menu currently on-line, but there are plenty of good selections on the kid's menu, such as fish, burgers, and chicken nuggets. My boys had a great time here!!!
