Oysters were excellent...the bigger the better for sure!! The location of the restaurant is superb, specially in the summer months.

This was my 3rd visit to Thames Street Oyster House and I couldn't wait to get a serving of my favorite mussels. I had visions of eagerly sopping up every last drop of the broth. Well, they changed the recipe since my last visit and the new broth is boring and tasteless. What a disappointment! I would have given TSOH... More

After researching for a while for a best seafood in Baltimore, we got across of this place. Tried to make a reservation, which was impossible, place is too small and over crowded. I have to admit -I will never go back... overrated! overpriced! nothing special for BALTIMORE!! Staff is very nice though.

As a Rhode Islander I am very picky about my seafood, everything from oysters, to lobster to chowder. Thames Street is definitely up to New England standards. The menu is much more centered on that than of the Maryland/Baltimore crab/seafood typical menu. The RI chowder and Point Judith Calamari was very good. Our oysters (from RI, MA, ME, and some... They have an extensive selection of raw oysters from all over the country, all of them were really fresh.

Visited by locals, constant traffic of people getting into the restaurant. Were greeted, show to a table, and offered drinks immediately. Have a solid selection of Oysters.. you select the ones you prefer (loved the Maine and New Jersey ones). Had the bouillabaisse and it was absolutely delicious (must have). For dessert, had the Havana Sundae... it you want a... More

I have to be missing something here. All the reviews were good but I can tell you we had the worst calamari that I have ever had. I can't speak for the other food but when we walked in someone had left more then half of their lobster roll when they were leaving, Then another person left their fries. So... More

Amazing menu, great food and atmosphere. This restaurant is directly across from the New Pendry Hotel. Take a stroll through the history of Baltimore after a meal to remember.

My reason for visiting this restaurant haunt is that it was, many decades ago, an old bar which my late father visited on more than one occasion, and was the scene of many a weekend's raucous activities. I was not allowed in it then due to my tender age of under 10. So as the years progressed, and time changed... More
