The beers are good and varied and the staff very friendly. The menu was good and the food well prepared. You go for the beer and it was good.

We stopped in for some lunch and local eats during the holiday season. They had a decent beer selection and seafood on the menu. The portions are huge and you definitely get your money's worth. The service was well paced and attentive.

Went for a quick lunch with friends and had a really nice experience. Our server was very nice and helpful. The beer is great -- loved the Loose Cannon IPA. A friend really enjoyed the flight + a shot of whiskey. We also enjoyed the...More

Great place to visit either before or after bowling at Mustang Alleys, located just above. They make a variety of great beers and the food is always good.

Recently Heavy Seas was featured on the Food Network's Burgers, Brew & Que hosted by Michael Symon. They were highlighted for their craft brewing and their beerclairs. The beerclairs are one of their signature desserts. It just like a traditional eclair - the oblong shaped...More

Beer, apps, salads, fish tacos and sandwiches...Eight of us, 4 couples 28 to 57 years old. Love the beer selections. Mixed drinks were good too. We all shared 3 appetizers BBQ Nachos, fried pickles and loaded tater tots. These 3 apps were large enough for...More

Visited while attending the army navy game with my wife and son. Loved the setting in a historic building. Adjacent to a cigar store with a shared smoking lounge with corn hole. Great beers, food was average and typical of bars. The beerclair desert was...More

Stopped in for a test flight and actually tried out two flights (8 beers). The bar staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their beers. We had dinner plans so didn't want to eat here although the food looked good. We settled for a pretzel; great...More

What a shame. What could be an idea set up with a cigar space and good beers is utterly ruined by rood staff. We brought a dozen friendly people down from Mustang Alleys (Great place, way better food) to celebrate a birthday. Heavy Seas manager...More

This review is about the Heavy Seas Taproom, at the brewery, not the Alehouse which is in Baltimore.

This is the Alehouse, in Baltimore. It's a bar/restaurant, not the brewery itself.
I saw that someone mentioned flights....I love trying new beers. What do the flights cost? Can you build your own?

I believe the flights are around $9. You can pick whatever you want, but it is a couple dollars extra if you throw in a specialty beer.
