Knowing that this was primarily a pub, we did not know what to expect in terms of dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by both the ribs, and the Chesapeake Chicken Sandwich. Both were really good. Service was a little slow, it took a little long...More

My brother Joe and I were having a discussion on eating anything with Old Bay on/in it. I aid I never order Old Bay anything. We went to the Charles Village Pub. We ordered the Old Bay wings and fries. The wings were so good,...More

Friendly place, good food, great service. Crab soup special was chock full of blue crab and tasty. Good draft beer selection.

Checked this place out online and decided to give it a try. Loved it. Nice location. It's comfortable inside and kind of cozy. I had their Reuben with corned beef and slaw and it was amazing. My gf had the Angus burger and it too...More

The burgers are terrific! Pay extra for bacon. It's worth it. Soo worth it. It's a little divey, but I like that. This is Baltimore and you've chosen a pub. That's clearly what you want. It's what I want.

My colleague and I came here after a professional development training. She got a few drinks at the bar and we shared some appetizers. The place was dark. Smelled of beer. The bathrooms were gross. The bartender was nice and my colleague liked her drink...More

I absolutely love this place! I visit several times a month! The Happy Hour specials are great and the food good. The bartenders are very friendly and remember what you drink. The best times we've had were sitting outside during the summer...drinking and people watching!

CVP used to really be the hot spot in Charles Village. It still is if you are a JHU student on a limited budget, who wants to get trashed on cheap beer. The food is just now average. They used to have great crab dip,...More

Our daughter took us there one evening. Yes, it is noisy and some of the other patrons seemed a little on the seedy side. The food and service is good. We enjoyed it. It is an old school pub/bar with large portions.
