This used to be a kosher deli is my guess but it isn't anymore. That said, the sandwiches are good, some kosher cold cuts are available and the knishes are very tasty. Be careful if you have issues with salt (even the mustard is salty)

This is the third time for lunch at Lenny's. It's OK but a bit of a disappointment. You have to know the drill - skip the first line and move into the second line if you want pastrami. The pastrami sandwiches were average. The fried chicken was so-so. The table was fairly clean. Nothing was bad, but nothing was good... More

Was woefully disappointed. Employees did not seem very pleasant, one employee was actually fussing with a patron. The fries tasted as if they were cooked 2 days before. Rueben sandwich was average, nothing like it's predecessor Jack's corned beef, and it took the cook a ridiculously long time to prepare it. My husband and I were the only 2 people... More

This Deli was recommended to me by a person on the street lol The food was good, you go through a cafeteria type line to order and get your food. The place was large with plenty of seating but was empty

My expectations were too high. The meat, especially the brisket, was dry and lacked flavor. I was expecting it to measure up to Katz or Carnegie Deli in NYC _ not even close and the portions were very small. In this case, that was a good thing. The ambiance was bleak, dull and uninviting. I didn't want to eat there,... More

Starving one morning, I drove down Lombard Street and spotted Lenny's. It was a love a match made in heaven--a food lover and a great deli--and I've been back several times since. The Reuben sandwich is a fave. What's unique is that they offer regular and lean cuts for some sandwiches; interesting. They have a wide range of deli sandwiches,... More

Maybe I was too optimistic in expecting an actual New York style Jewish deli. Lenny's didn't even come close. Had a turkey sandwich - meat tasted no better than the processed stuff you get in a supermarket. Not fresh sliced turkey breast! The bread was semi-stale and also had the taste and texture of bread from a bag in the... More

Nothing fancy, just Delicious sandwiches and perfect for lunch. Well worth the money!!! We were looking for a place near the inner harbor and several people recommended Lenny's. They were right.

The counter guy might have been the owner. He gave lip to me, as if I didn't know good kosher-style deli food. The salami had been sliced long before and had begun to oxidize. This adds an unpleasant sour taste to even the best salami. The potato salad had been scooped into a covered plastic container and stored in the... More
