We brought out of town guests here for a true culinary experience, and they loved it, too. The service, wine selection and food were top notch, as always. Great special celebration place to go. We had nearly everything on the menu and not one criticism.

Service was utterly and totally poor in the dessert cafe. We literally waited 30 minutes just to receive coffee and a pastry. They stuck 1 poor little girl back there to service incoming traffic that came to just have dessert and coffee and she had to service the entire bistro/restaurant with coffee and desserts during rush out. Because she had... More

This restaurant is really more of a 4-1/2 of 5. The only negative was that the size of some of the portions was small; i.e. The calamari appetizer, and the prices are a tad higher than they should be. However, those two factors aside, the dining experience was very enjoyable and the food and service were well above average as... More

I reserved a table through the OpenTable app to treat my wife. Having a friend who works here was also an incentive for going outside my comfort zone. Even though our friend was not working this night, he still managed to surprise us with a bottle of wine and a treat from the chef. My wife ordered a carrot soup... More

One of the best things about authentic French food is you can eat so many divine things and never feel full, just delighted with the overall tastes, textures and aromas you have just experienced. Add wonderful wine and Bon!!!

We went for my mother in laws birthday. We have been here about 5 years ago for another of her birthdays. She really likes it, and the food is good. The service is some of the best in the industry. Having said that, it definitely comes with a cost. They have food that you just can't get anywhere else and... More

I cannot speak highly enough about Petit Louis. As a French woman, I especially enjoy having a restaurant in Baltimore with such delicious and authentic food. We usually have dinner at Petit Louis 4 or 5 times a year and each time it is a great experience. Appetizers I enjoy are the salade frisée with pieces of bacon and the... More

I selected this restaurant based on the menu which looked like it had something for everyone. I was pleased when I pulled up the find the facility was so charming and based on the very crowded nature I assumed the food was going to be great. I later found out that it was so crowded because it happened to be... More

I'm not a huge fan of old style French cooking. Too many rich sauces I don't understand. The breakfast offering here were simple and unsauced. My husband had a steak with egg and I had pain perdu. Our waiter Thillman was a delight. He arranged to get a large latte from their sister restaurant Johnnies to help with my jet... More

Planned to stop here after attending a trade show in Baltimore. The reviews were spot on. The staff was friendly and professional. The meal, from appetizer to dessert, was delightful and delicious. Our server, Mark, was exceptional and knew what we needed before we asked. He took the time to explain how things were prepared, happily accommodated any "tweeks" to... More
