This is my go to spot for lunch -- you have to try their chopped salad, they make it to order! Also tried dinner there and the shrimp and grits are the best ever!

Just around the corner from Peabody. A large spacious place, but calm and tranquil. Wonderful slads and many other dished prepared right there. And what fantastic prices and great service.

Good simple food (chopped salads, gourmet hot dogs, crepes, paninis, crab cakes); very friendly staff behind the counter, large open space with local art work, simple seating, nice vibe. The ketchup for the Old Bay french fries was a new and unopened bottle: still had the plastic cover on the top. A pleasant, almost funky but basically charming cafe. Closes... More

This place has great food and a funky atmosphere but you leave smelling like a french fry. Like most of the restaurants in Bmore; lots of potential and no follow through.

Sascha's is located about one block from both the Walters Art Museum and Peabody Institute, and Sacha's has a classy artistic vibe. It has very high ceilings, a lovely chandelier and large artworks throughout the restaurant. Lunch menu items rotate slightly but usually include freshly prepared salads, several crepes and hotdog options. You order from a counter and then sit... More

You'll find Sascha's in a row house just steps away from the Walters, where admission is free, so you can duck in for a bit before or after lunch. The decor is eclectic and fun. Pick up a paper menu and order from the counter. Sascha's signature is chopped salad - pick a protein and three of a dazzling list... More

Occupying the site of the former elegant hairdressing salon, Andre's, Sascha's offers a nice mix of chopped salads, crepes, and panini in a warm, comfortable, cafeteria setting, Sascha's is a great stop after a visit to the Walters or the nearby Peabody Conservatory of Music.

Went here several times during my stay in Baltimore. Great lunch place with its choice of salads and sides. Interesting artwork on display. When I went here for dinner, the food was much more upscale. Not a whole lot of choices for vegetarians, but the food I ended up ordering was really good.
