This is a special place for a special occasion. Small, quiet, beautiful restaurant inside the main resort building, dining here is an event, not just a meal (and definitely don’t insult them by being in a hurry)! I believe reservations are a must. The staff...More

Don't waste your money, you'll pay about $80+ each with tax and tip for a very average tasting brunch. Nothing was remarkable as far as taste goes - think fancy cafeteria. There were a plethora of options, but I would trade all of those options/food...More

We had a 7:30 reservation on a Saturday night, though it was early in the season so was not as busy as you would expect at peak time. The first thing you notice is the red interior, which I suppose is meant to call to...More

My wife and I were looking forward to eating at this place for long time. We tried to go there a year ago or so, when we were visiting Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater (fantastic!), which is about 9 miles away, a year ago, but the...More

This was our first time at Lautrec for brunch. The hostess was lovely and while our table was being cleared, she walked us through the various stations and highlighted her favorite items as recommendations. Two servers assist you and are attentive but not intrusive. The...More

We were looking for a Thanksgiving getaway and we needed a restaurant that was serving Thanksgiving dinner and was vegetarian friendly. Lautrec met both requirements! The setting is very comfortable and romantic. The service was impeccable and our primary server was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful....More

My husband and I recently had a wonderful dinner at Lautrec with another couple. Our server and assistant server were excellent! They were timely, knowledgeable, friendly, etc. They explained that we could do a choice of 5 courses from the left side of the menu...More

I started my evening with salad and escargot. Main course duck with sweet potato. Then a chocolate and peanut butter terrine. Everything was perfect.

This restaurant leaves nothing to chance or want! The food and service was spectacular! Each course (we chose the “circle the ingredients and let the chef to his/her expertise” dinners) was fabulous!! The only downside was....when we got the bill—our dinner for 2 was $650(w/gratuity)...More

I couldn’t get enough of my brunch at Lautrec. The hostess informed someone about my gluten intolerance. I was taken on a tour of the buffet where someone (I believe her name was Kathy.) pointed out everything I could eat. When I asked if I...More

This restaurant is romantic - more suited for couples. I'd recommend one of the other properties on site instead. We took our kids to both Aqueous and Autumn which were both great. They're both upscale, but Autumn was the... More

Lautrec truly is one of the finest dining experiences in the country. Having been awarded both the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond awards for 2014, Lautrec is only one of 28 restaurants in the world to hold both a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond award simultaneously. Lautrec's culinary style is influenced by European cuisine. Using the finest ingredients found locally and internationally, Chef Butterworth and her team carefully prepare ingredients with whimsy and comfort in mind, to create a truly unique and approachable Five-Star / Five-Diamond dining experience. The menu is a prix-fixe format which welcomes guests to create their own four-course menu. Guests looking to opt out of decision making can rely upon Chef Butterworth and our resident Sommelier's evening recommendations and dine from our seven-course Chef's Tasting menu. Caviar, champagne and a selection of artisanal cheeses are offered a la carte to heighten the experience. Options for a Vegetable or Vegan Tasting menu are also available. The word "experience" is used frequently when describing Lautrec, because the Tasting Menu format, rich atmosphere and exceptional customer service lend itself to an evening of gastronomical entertainment rather than an evening meal.
