I ate at Lautrec twice while staying at the resort. I had dinner there on Saturday night and brunch on Sunday. Dinner was pretty good—not amazing, given the menu prices—but OK. Brunch was not good. Shrimp you have to peel? Are you kidding? Perhaps it...More

We went here for an anniversary dinner and followed up with a Sunday Brunch. Loved, Loved this place. The wait staff was super attentive. The dinner was very fancy (with caviar, pate and the like). Very impressive wine list. We enjoyed our 5 star meal....More

We dressed up and went for the 5 star experience with Lautrec. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the live singer was lovely.... but we just didn't feel "welcome." We went with our 4 boys- ages between 9 and 15- Our children have been in "fancy"...More

Advertised as an elite restaurant as part of a first-class dining experience, the Chef and the team at Lautrec did not disappoint. The service was great from the reception forward. Live music added to the great atmosphere. The food was superb. We took the "Leap...More

The 5-star rating is a shocker here. It honestly must not have been earned at Sunday Brunch. Out of our entire stay, this was the only disappointment. Sure, I'll hand it to you for crab claws - impressive. But at $52pp, you need to have...More

Beautiful restaurant with exceptional service and unbelievable Sunday brunch! Most impressive was the array of foods and the extremely reasonable price of $52.00. Lots of seafood, salads, cheeses, pates. egg dishes, carving station and fabulous dessert!

My husband and I chose the tasting menu where you pick 10-12 ingredients and then the chef creates your courses for you. I was very excited. The food we received was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Every course was amazing. Even rosemary macaroon amuse bouche was...More

The chef tries too hard with food preparation techniques and presentations that just do nothing to create delicious dishes. For the price point, I was expecting lot more and we had the 7-course wine pairing dinner.

The experience although having had some pleasant moments left one feeling underwhelmed after all the hype. Around $900 for three people, and some of the food was adequate but definitely not outstanding when compared to other dining experience I have had. To be honest the...More

My husband is a chef and he's very particular about his dining experiences, but we loved Lautrec exceeded his expectations on all accounts! Service was fantastic. They welcomed our two children, ages 8 & 11, with a "young adult" menu that matched the pace of...More

This restaurant is romantic - more suited for couples. I'd recommend one of the other properties on site instead. We took our kids to both Aqueous and Autumn which were both great. They're both upscale, but Autumn was the... More

Description
Lautrec truly is one of the finest dining experiences in the country. Having been awarded both the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond awards for 2014, Lautrec is only one of 28 restaurants in the world to hold both a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond award simultaneously. Lautrec's culinary style is influenced by European cuisine. Using the finest ingredients found locally and internationally, Chef Butterworth and her team carefully prepare ingredients with whimsy and comfort in mind, to create a truly unique and approachable Five-Star / Five-Diamond dining experience. The menu is a prix-fixe format which welcomes guests to create their own four-course menu. Guests looking to opt out of decision making can rely upon Chef Butterworth and our resident Sommelier's evening recommendations and dine from our seven-course Chef's Tasting menu. Caviar, champagne and a selection of artisanal cheeses are offered a la carte to heighten the experience. Options for a Vegetable or Vegan Tasting menu are also available. The word "experience" is used frequently when describing Lautrec, because the Tasting Menu format, rich atmosphere and exceptional customer service lend itself to an evening of gastronomical entertainment rather than an evening meal.
