Food was just average but the service and atmosphere was good. Pricey! I had the surf and turf (filet and shrimp).

My friend and I throughly enjoyed our meal at a.Lure. Fried green tomatoes as a shared starter had the right amount of tartness, complemented by the crunchy corn meal exterior. I chose to have the Low Country Boil and my dining partner had the catch of the day which was bass. The Bass was cooked to perfection and my Boil... More

I was a guest in Savannah for 5 months where I dined out every single day, so needless to say I hit many different restaurants over this time, and some of them many times over. I have a laundry list of reviews to write, but I am starting with my top 5, and A Lure is one of them. This... More

I had the special black bass dinner. Food was wonderful. Decor was simple upscale. They were open on a Sunday! Quiet romantic dining. Do get the chocolate pecan pie for dessert.

Overrated. Food and service are about average for the price category. Duck was served with cole-slaw and bbq sauce with some kind of crappy egg-roll with duck confit - not a good mix. Salad was alright. Probably wouldn't go again.

Staff when you walk in are friendly and accommodating They have two seating areas; the front room, which is open, warmer and more lively, and a smaller rear room which is kind of meh but you can have a conversation We started with the crab cakes and kale salad. The former were delicious and the juxtaposition of passion fruit tarter... More

A simple dinner of two appetizers and two entrées wasn't cheap, but this place was worth the trip. The crab cake and fried green tomato appetizers were excellently prepared, as were the fillet mignon and one of their signature dishes, "peas and carrots," which is actually grilled sea scallops served over risotto. What made all these so special was the... More

On a road trip from Massachusetts to Florida we found ourselves stopping in Savanna for a night. Weary and drifting towards sleep we needed a good meal to continue our journey in the morning so we stopped in the beautiful town center and stumbled upon a.Lure. From the beginning the hostess, bartender, and server were very welcoming and helpful with... More

The dining area was nicely organized. The table locations, small partitions and angles gave the illusion of privacy. The lighting was subdued but enough to read the menu without pain. The service was quick and friendly. Generally great ambiance. We started with a signature cocktail called A.Luricane. In combination with other cocktails we had in the city that evening, we... More

Description
Located in the heart of the historic downtown City Market area, a.lure is an exciting new addition to the Savannah restaurant scene. Chef Greg Silver's contemporary American Cuisine with Low Country twists complements a.lure's rustic modern ambiance. Our local farm-to-fork philosophy is supplemented by thoughtful plating of regionally sourced ingredients, thoughtful presentation and creative flavor combinations. Savannah clams, oysters, local crab meat, and fresh Georgia shrimp are just a few of the local items on our menu, as well as premium steaks, regional and Niman Ranch pork products, scallops from Maine, and Wagyu beef. We transform these wonderful ingredients into exciting dishes ranging from Low Country influenced offerings to globally inspired fare. Superb service and a gem from our ever expanding wine list will complete an amazing dining experience. Our goal at a.lure is to anticipate all of your needs and to exceed all your expectations.
