Sapphire Grill has long been one of our favorites, but it has recently closed. Just wanted to let people know in case they were planning to visit.

The Sapphire Grill is my favorite restaurant in Savannah. The food is always great and they know how to take care of their customers. The Mojitos are great and highly recommended.

We had a terrific meal...one of the best ever. Benne seeded grouper was excellent. Loved the cocktail menu. Our waiter, Gerome, was great - never steered us wrong. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Savannah.

On the advice of a local we had dinner here on our last night in Savannah. Without a doubt it was one of the top 5 dinners I've had here in the US and Europe. Service was excellent, food was outstanding, what else is there to say? Our waiter's suggestions were spot on. Run, don't walk to,this restaurant! I will... More

We celebrated a friends birthday here based on excellent reviews! Either it was a bad, off night for all working there (except for the bartender) or this restaurant has been extremely over-rated. The service was poor; our waiter struggled with getting food & drinks to us, misguided us as to food selections. Our food was mediocre except for the grits... More

This is a nice, quiet place to enjoy dinner with a special someone. It feels like you are in an old home, tucked away, even though you are in Ellis square. Food was fantastic, as was the service.

Went here on a suggestion from a friend. The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive throughout the meal. Everyone enjoy their food from steak, fish and chicken. We did order the calamari and it was excellent. I had the tuna and was very satisfied. Perfect place for a celebration or special anniversary or day.

One of the city's most consistently stylish restaurants evokes a low-key, counterculture bistro, but its cuisine is grander and more cutting-edge than its industrial-looking decor and its level of hipness would imply. Wrapped in warm brick and cool steel, the Sapphire Grill has steeped itself in a history of fine culinary tradition. Christopher Nason is the owner and the most talked about chef of the moment in Savannah, preparing what he defines as a "coastal cuisine" based on seafood hauled in on the day of its preparation from nearby waters. From seasonal chanterelles and oregon black truffles, to the most tender cuts of meat and delicate seafood, Chef Nason and his team work feverishly to keep Sapphire at the mark expected of her.
