Grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup is a classic, and SoHo has one of the most perfect combos ever, All the other plates passing by looked scrumptious, but I really wouldn't have traded my meal with anyone. The décor is determinedly eclectic but spotlessly clean...More

A very nice restaurant to enjoy brunch/lunch. Upon entering, this place is enormous. They do not take reservations but worth the wait The bacon waffle was excellent.

Take everything out of your garage. Now bring in the lawn furniture. Bake a quiche. There: that's what lunch at this joint is like. This is Savannah, not SOHO...so take that funky brunch thing someplace else.

We were here on a 2 week vacation. We ate here twice. Rebecca "Becca" served us both times. We really enjoyed the food it was great. Our service was awesome. Ask for Becca. We loved the decor.

This spot is gorgeous to look at. Food was good but not the "wow" factor I was expecting given the space. Would give it another try.

We stopped at Soho South for lunch right after we got to Savannah. The space is an old warehouse or similar structure made into a very modern space with lots of open area -- the tables are not crowded at all. The food was very...More

Despite the name (it isn't in NY, and it is actually west of Savannah's Houston Street!), this place serves up interesting takes on Southern favorites. All of us were really happy with our orders. I had a Salmon BLT with aioli on a bun that...More

While in the savannah area, there are dozens of restaurants-it’s kind of overwhelming. My friend and I were walking around and stumbled upon this place. Great atmosphere & awesome food and drinks! The service was alright- great bartender & average server. The hostess could have...More

Hello, Unfortunately the only day we accept reservations is Sunday brunch. We're a casual restaurant so we operate on a first come first served basis.

Description
Soho South Cafe has been made famous by its patrons as one of Savannah's staple weekly lunch and Sunday brunch spots. Opening its doors in 1997, Soho South Cafe is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Savannah, appropriately named after the iconic New York City neighborhood for its proximity to nearby shops and entertainment venues. Built originally as an automotive service station in 1945, the building sat vacant for a number of years before the restaurant's original owners acquired the space and transformed it into a restaurant. Most recently, the restaurant was acquired by Daniel Reed Hospitality and remodeled to make improvements to the existing model which represents the latest adaptation as it stands today. The design of the restaurant incorporates elements of iconic, archetypal New York City. The quirky, eclectic esthetic lends a sense of humor to the monumental, vast interior space which includes the buildings original exposed elements such as the steel windows, iron trusses, and solid wooden garage doors. The overall atmosphere results in a casual dining experience that works perfectly for lunch and private events.
