I suppose as a family, we all have those times when you've run errands all day and you are overly hungry and have become snarky with each other. Such was this particular evening, we needed to eat somewhere and were beyond caring where. I was ready to bypass DiCastro's, I'd been there a couple of times after it first opened... More

My wife and I eat here once or twice a month. Either take out or eat in. Their pizza is the best in town. We like the house white. This past week we stopped in on Saturday night for their prime rib special. It was great, Perfectly done meat, pasta, veggie and a salad. All their pasta is made in... More

So everyone told me, go to DiCastro's! The best food ever, they said. Well, it was average at best. I had greens, which were not good at all. Very, very overpriced and tasted like they had been at the bottom of the Erie Canal. Not impressed. One friend had a salad (chicken Caesar) which she shared, it was okay. Nothing... More

Visiting my college student son who lives in Rome, we decided to try DiCastro's. Excellent wood fired pizza, and the artichoke dip bread bowl was delicious!

The food was average. Nothing to die for or anything. The best part of the meal was the bread! What really turned me off was an incident that happened when we were waiting for a table. They bring you to a seating area which looks like a bar. The "bartender" was clearly sick. She was sneezing and coughing all over... More

Pizza is really good. Consider the weekly pizza special. Or one of there specialty pizzas. But if you want something other than pizza, you can go as well. Wings are really good and meaty. Other pasta dishes are good. Try the "used meat" (go and you will understand). It is great.

Dad & I had dinner at DiCastros. We both got pizzas (mine with sweet sun-dried tomatoes and Dads with veggies). They were fantastic! I love it there!

The staff was great the sandwiches were good, the chips not so much. My son and I had lunch and the staff were knowledgable of the history of the place and friendly. They make their own chips and we must have come on a bad oil day. I would still go back.

The food was good and authentic. Nice surroundings. People were very nice. Does a good business for lunch. Sure the dinner crowd is well attended as well.

Atmosphere is good but that's it.... bread was half baked, salad wilted and small. French onion soup tasteless and lacking proper cover of cheese. Homemade pasta was under cooked and sauce to acidic to eat. Miles away from a traditional Italian meal, all the ingredients of one but prepared by a "drunk grandmother"
