The family always tries to go out to dinner here once every visit. I enjoy the authentic German food offerings. They also have a good selection of beers on tap. The wait staff is very friendly and responsive.

I’ve eaten Bavarian food everywhere and I’ve never had pan fried spatzel. At least that’s what it came out like. But, the place is very cute, and the beer prices and selection is top notch. Hungarian veal was so good. Sauce so flavorful. Service at...More

We went here during a business trip and the food was amazing. I had the Pork St. Moritz and it was the best I've had outside of Germany. The staff was pleasant and attentive and the restaurant was not crowded or noisy. Definitely would go...More

Gustav's is the successor of Der Rhienlander, which closed last year. Gustav's menu is very similar to it's predecessor except everything is sold separately and the items can real add up... there is still the great fondue and German specialities... the service remains good.

Met with my sister for happy hour. Good food at an excellent price. We had the Shepherds pie, wine and some dessert.

We opted for 2 dinner salads with chicken. Mine was good; the chicken was tender & veggies were fresh. But husband's salad entree wasn't. I had the turkey club; it was scrumptious but glad I came prepared with my own healthy salt.

I've had mixed experiences over the years with Gustav's (I sure do miss the Rheinlander in Portland!) This time we came with a group of 10 at 6 pm and seating went smoothly. We ordered reasonably priced drinks at Happy Hour. I had the Chicken...More

Some. Mostly in the form of salads and the like. Being a Pub styled after central europe (Germany, Austria, Hungary, and so on) there is a heavy reliance on meat and dairy based products. Hope this helped!
