We've been coming to Lee's Retreat for the better part of two years now (we're locals). First off, it has a great atmosphere. It's family-friendly to the point that they will bring your child(ren) toys, and the acoustics make conversation easy. The beer is amazing,...More

I had an enjoyable meal here with a local club I belong to. There is a limited menu, but the food our group ordered seemed to be good and enjoyed by all. I had a nice steak sandwich and my dining partner had a grilled...More

We took a family trip out to the Brewpub for lunch. The beer was pretty good, the sampler was a hit if you want to try what they have. The meal took a while to arrive (over a hour) and most of the people thought...More

This was my first visit to Lee's Retreat. My husband had been there several times and raves about it. I like that it is tucked away...that adds to the allure. Our server was very attentive to us. I had the Fred Red and am totally...More

We originally went to this location, as just a part of "let's see the local brewery". The tour was fantastic, but after getting a few smells of the brewpub, our group of 4 decided to give them a shot. Everything we ordered (Sans maybe the...More

I appreciate you taking the time to detail your experience at the brewpub 4th of July weekend. The good news is that our performance that weekend is the exception and not a routine happening. I heard from two other dissatisfied customers about our performance that...More

This place is hard to find!! We had to sit outside since the inside dining area was fully booked with reservations. No views to speak of since it is located in an industrial park. Our server was very helpful, but food delivery was slow and...More

Carol, Even though you gave us a poor rating (our goal is 5 stars!) I am grateful for your feedback. The good news is that your experience is the exception and not a routine happening. However, I have noticed some mediocre food presentation, and protracted...More

Really like this restaurant. The service was very good, and the food is different from the standard fare. Really enjoyed the steak sandwich with a mushroom sauce. They are connected to a brewery serving their own brand. It's an adventure getting there, too, since it's...More

What makes this restaurant a unique and enjoyable experience is the fact that their mainstay brews and seasonal brews are civil war inspired. They use local ingredients for their beer and also use their beer for many of their tasty recipes! They also host charitable...More

Slightly off the beaten Fredericksburg path, but delicious beers and food make this worth a visit. Tie it into a tour of the brewery, and do some free tastings of the different beers in the brewery! Buy a beautiful large growler to bring some home...More
