Came to this cafe at about 1:15 on a beautiful Friday. The place was busy but there were some empty tables. We asked a passing waitress if we could sit at an empty table in the corner. We got a grunted yes. We sat down and stacked up the empty dishes on the side. We sat there for about fifteen... More

Always love our Amy's Cafe! The food, service, and venue are always top shelf! We feel like home when we visit and absolutely love the staff...every one makes us feel like family the moment we walk in. This is the best kept secret in Fredericksburg and one we will enjoy for years to come. Order a Banging Betty Bloody Mary... More

Good local place to eat in an old brick building just off Rt17, close to the river and next to the big bridge into Fredericksburg. Plenty of parking. Nothing fancy but good tasty food. Fire was burning in both fireplaces that added a nice ambiance. Interior is a bit neglected and it could do with a fresh coat of paint.

Went to lunch with a friend. I asked for recommendations from the waitress. She recommended the Reuben sandwich. It was very good.

A lunch with my wife, she suggested Amy's and it was as we remembered. She had the Reuben, it was very lean and delicious. I had the Beef Open Face sandwich with hot brown gravy over mashed potatoes - yummy. We recommend the French Silk pie, the crust was superb.

Drove past Amy's yesterday and noticed they had paved the parking lot next to the building. It certainly needed it. But the one across the street which is frequently the only place with open slots hasn't been paved. One thing at a time, I guess. But I was reminded that we haven't been to Amy's in several months. In the... More

My girlfriend and I saw this place in the Fredericksburg guide on things to do online, so we decided to pop by. The place is in a great location just across the Rappahannock River from downtown Fredericksburg with a great view. We sat outside and took full advantage of the great view and got to watch the traffic pass by... More

This restaurant is a bit hard to get to and park at, but it's worth it. The furniture needs updating, as I sat on an old low couch whose supports had long since given out. That said, our waiter was very nice, our food was surprisingly fast, and I really enjoyed it. The fried green tomatoes were excellent, and I... More

Chili for an appetizer was cold. Waiter never asked about temperature of hamburger. Waiter never gave me a spoon for chili or coffee. Portion of French Dip was all bread and no meat. Waiter brought condiments after several minutes of waiting. If you order burger and fries, one would think they would bring ketchup with them. Dropped check off without... More
