My husband orders French onion soup wherever he finds it because it reminds him of the day he sat on the curb in Paris at 5 in the morning eating French onion soup and watching Les Halles get set up. He pronounced the French onion...More

Hadn't been here in years, but made a point of stopping on way to DC. We each chose an interesting trout dish. Tasty, but not exceptional.

Nice place. Nice service but some of the heaviest french food I ever had. The fried was heavier breading than I’m used too. Good martini! I can see why it’s a popular spot.

Loved the pancetta scallops with polenta! Also the fried oysters are to die for, and I don’t typically LIKE oysters! Had a taste of most of the appetizers and everything was wonderful! Warm Brie and almonds... mmmmm....

We did the 4 course dinner with wine pairings. Their price for this is pretty low, which should set your expectations. Appetizers were adequate to pretty good. Salad was fine. Entrees were average but both came with large quantities of fairly unadorned snow peas. Dessert...More

Girls' group (we ranged from 60+ to 90+ years) headed to La Petite this past Friday evening. Love the ambiance! If you want a bit of fancy, choose the dining room, for casual, ask to sit in the bar. We sat in the bar and...More

Delicious lunch of beef tenderloin and pan fried oysters. Both served with sides of scalloped potatoes. Oysters also included Cole Slaw. Started with "Tee Off" cocktail, fresh house salad and incredible cream of tomato soup. Amanda delivered exquisite service. We will be returning later for...More

This is a follow-up to my previous review. The restaurant is still quite good but service can be erratic these days and the kitchen has totally forgotten how to prepare vegetables. The broccoli and green beans are absolutely tasteless, which is bewildering since the meat...More
