I have heard rave reviews about the breakfast but alas I have not tried...although I do stop for dinner every so often. This is a small little diner, no surprise when you visit from time to time you see the same waitress and they remember your order (which just makes you feel so special) Typical dinner menu offers a variety... Went there for breakfast and had the eggs, potatoes and grilled kielbasa. Outstanding! Plenty of food so didn't need lunch. Will be there again.

I love coming here for breakfast when I am in the area. It's just like going to grandma's house on a cold, gloomy day and sitting next to her wood-fired stove sipping coffee out of a saucer like she used to. The waitresses are super attentive and know their regulars. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is like America's... More

Cheap, good food, popular for breakfast and lunch. They also serve some good Greek food such as Souvlaki and Gyros. It is an old iconic little diner that has been in Fredericksburg for a long time!

I travel all over the country and have breakfast on the road probably 180 days a year. There is no place in America I have found that can match the breakfast at 2400 Diner.

Fantastic little gem of a diner just outside town. Busy with serving regulars and locals which has to be a good sign. Awesome home cooked food, big platefulls and smiley happy service. Awesome.

I have been going to the 2400 Diner since I was a baby and 50+ years later my husband and I love going there for breakfast. They serve lunch and dinner, but in all my years, I have only been there for breakfast! It's very small but the food is GREAT!

Understandably. 2400 is something of an institution in Mother Washington's home town. A real diner with real diner food, supplemented by Greek dishes and holiday-appropriate specialties, such as Irish fare on St. Patrick's day. Breakfast is their forte, but is served late only on weekends - or maybe just Sundays. Other than Greek omletes and gyros, lunch is just average,... More

This diner has a authentic vibe and doesn't disappoint with their food. Had a ten minute wait for a booth (could have sat at counter immediately) last Sunday when we came for brunch. Hostess and servers were friendly. Food was outstanding and came out quickly. Daughter loved her shake and burger. Hubby had the Greek omelette special with home fries,... More
