I travel all over the country and have breakfast on the road probably 180 days a year. There is no place in America I have found that can match the breakfast at 2400 Diner.

Fantastic little gem of a diner just outside town. Busy with serving regulars and locals which has to be a good sign. Awesome home cooked food, big platefulls and smiley happy service. Awesome.

I have been going to the 2400 Diner since I was a baby and 50+ years later my husband and I love going there for breakfast. They serve lunch and dinner, but in all my years, I have only been there for breakfast! It's very small but the food is GREAT!

Understandably. 2400 is something of an institution in Mother Washington's home town. A real diner with real diner food, supplemented by Greek dishes and holiday-appropriate specialties, such as Irish fare on St. Patrick's day. Breakfast is their forte, but is served late only on weekends - or maybe just Sundays. Other than Greek omletes and gyros, lunch is just average,... More

This diner has a authentic vibe and doesn't disappoint with their food. Had a ten minute wait for a booth (could have sat at counter immediately) last Sunday when we came for brunch. Hostess and servers were friendly. Food was outstanding and came out quickly. Daughter loved her shake and burger. Hubby had the Greek omelette special with home fries,... More

Harry and Maria and their children run a tip-top place. The food is delicious and fairly priced. Maria cooks several authentic Greek dishes and makes chili and soups. The service is outstanding. The only drawback is that sometimes you have to wait for a seat because the restaurant is so popular, there are often lines to get in.

Excellent place to grab any meal with excellent service. I prefer breakfast, but lunch and dinner are good as well. Great old diner environment too.

My wife and I had breakfast at the 2400 on a Saturday morning after getting a recommendation from a local. It's a small place and we had to wait a bit outside to get a booth. Between the two of us we had all the standards: coffee, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, grits, pancakes, etc. Food was great; server friendly... More

I visited here twice in a weekend, both times for lunch while in town on business. That gave me the opportunity to experience different wait staffs and try different menu items. The 2400 Diner is exactly what a Diner experience should be: reasonable prices, good food served hot and fresh, and, friendly, welcoming service. The good news started as I... More
