We go to the Loon often as a whole family and sometimes as an adult couple. Typically, I have no qualms. However, when going out with my husband for a drink after a long week of work...a friendly, inviting, at least pleasant bartender is so nice. A couple of times though the bartender seems to just be bothered to be... More

Watched a comedy show. This place accepts only cash. It's very rustic & redneck, but the portable seating was actually comfortable. The food looked okay but like many people now days I did not carry much cash that night. Had I known it was cash only I would have brought more. I'd attend another show here.

I have never been to a public place where you can watch a movie, we saw Spotlight", eat a sandwich and have a drink at the same time. It was not easy balancing a plate with food and a glass of beer while in a comfortable movie theater seat. But if you wanted to there were tables as well. The... More

This is a great place for concerts. Be aware that it is loud and frequented by a young crowd. If you are OK with that, it has good entertainment.

Sorry that this review rambles on. You might find it informative or entertaining. My honey and I thought we would catch a movie and a bite to eat while we were at it. BAD IDEA. The The halibut sandwich had a 1" x 2" piece of fish. No Sxxt. I showed this to the waitress and she was so embarrased... More

The Blue Loon regularly has concerts and movies. Both are great to attend. The food and beer are delicious.

First time visiting the blue loon. Loved it. Didn't have a chance to eat as we didn't realize they had a place to sit and eat however the menu looked very appetizing and food smelled great. We came to see the first show of Jamie Kennedys stand up. That was the best. And hilarious. My cheeks were sore from laughing... More

Have had several positive movie/meal at the Loon but this one was VERY disappointing. Noise/loud music from the bar area (Saturday night) was annoying. The movie "Boyhood" was excellent, however, the digital player malfunctioned during the last 5 minutes-after sitting through an hour and 45 minute movie we missed the last 5 minutes with not even an apology. The owner... More

My husband and I enjoy going to the Loon. Great laid back atmosphere. Enjoy inviting friends to visit, share a meal and watch a movie.

My husband and I love going here to watch movies because you can eat and/or drink while watching. They also provide comedy nights in the winter, live outdoor concerts in the summer, and some indoor concerts off and on all year. I think they do karaoke sometimes and whenever there is a holiday, they do some special dance night. They're... More
