The bagel sandwiches were chewy and jumbo filled. But oh that chopped liver with rye and pumpernickel was delightful. Perfect taste and pickled veggies. There are lines on the weekend so came on a Monday. Service was friendly and fast.

Visited on a brutally cold day around noon. I was surprised to find plenty of seats available. Cozy place with stools and a few tables. I opted for the Smoked Meat sandwich and some coleslaw. The sandwich was excellent and the slaw was just okay....More

Mile End Delicatessen is a "Montreal-style" deli in Brooklyn that's famous for its' smoked meat (brisket) on rye bread sandwich. It's not classic NYC pastrami ... but it's good!! This sandwich will definitely satisfy your meat sandwich needs!

Ordered to go smoked meat sandwich. Almost not edible the meat was so fatty. Bread was good but like rubber inside. Certainly not as good as was hoping it would be.

So I wasn't expecting much when I read about this place on the NYT top restaurant list. Really?!? A deli? I was picturing a hole in the wall place with a butcher in the back and sausages hanging from the ceiling. Well don't be fooled...More

Went there for dinner Saturday and was happy to get in without a reservation, until we got the food! What they called Brisket was really very fatty Corned Beef. Their Matzo Ball soup was watered down, and their $8 "Hoyt Dog" was small and not...More
