Our Saturday lunch here took quite long time, not so much due to slow service but since we had to send out the Spaghetti Carbonara three of us had ordered which was uneatable (burned). On second try they got it decent but still not great. They tried to fix the problem but without taking anything off the check. Unfortunately it... More

After 6 days in new York I really wanted to find a real Italian restaurant and this random choice paid back as the parmesan was simply perfect. Pizza is OK for ny standards. Good service too.

We happened upon Bevacco wondering down Henry Street on a Friday afternoon. Run by one waiter/bartender/ owner(?), we were warmly welcomed. We asked for iced tea; he said they didn't have any but he'd be happy to make some for us - that's the attitude of the restaurant. The menu is small but thoughtful; there are salads - kale, butternut... More

fantastic little find. After getting the tube / underground to see Brooklyn bridge we just wanted something to eat. This was very close so we popped in! Was greeted by a really friendly member of staff ! We just had a coffee and a pizza to share and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Highly... More

Really gross food and service, there was a fly in the water, they gave me a broken glass for my beer and also a hair in my pizza. I really do not recommend this place to any people who enjoys food

If you want spaghetti and meatballs or veal / chicken parm this is not the place. If you want Italian cuisine with the freshest ingredients now you're talking. The menu changes with the seasons, but it's always good. Most entrees are not usually found in other Italian restaurants. Examples: Gnocchi with duck confit, pasta with sardines, pasta with a lamb... It's the real thing. Good food, not pretentious but less informal than the other restaurants. All well-prepared and aesthetically presented and still moderately priced! And, yes, there is a world beyond TV miniseries!

A friend took us to this place, and we had a very nice meal. The mushroom appetizers were really great, as was the salad. The pasta dish was excellent. We also had a nice bottle of wine. Very friendly and attentive service.

We came across this place by accident on our first trip to Brooklyn. We had planned to go to another restaurant we had read about on tripadvisor but when we got there it was closed. Bevacco looked nice from the outside so we decided to give it a go. Service was friendly without being over the top. A nice bowl... More

First place we visited in Brooklyn, great vibe! Someone is clearly a Boardwalk Empire lover as the style of the venue is modelled on it - looks great, really nice, authentic decor, great cake, good times
