The key to this pizza is the ingredients. They are fresh and you can tell it. Very good! We got margherits and added pepperoni. Great stop if you're in Brooklyn and worth the quick ride over.

We were looking for the best pizza in the city and I'm sure this is definitely one of the best. Simply delicious. Services and atmosphere were also great. Thanks!

We were visiting NYC from Canada and decided to walk over the bridge and have dinner in Brooklyn. We were not disappointed! It was an hour til close and there was a small line, so we chose to sit at the counter. I'm so glad we did because we got to interact with the cooks and watch all of the... More

We stopped here for lunch after a walking tour over the Brooklyn Bridge and the surrounding area. Our guide recommended we try it as we wanted to know where to get good pizza in Brooklyn. As it happened, our tour finished right near 2 pizza shops, a pub, and a Shake Shack. We chose Julianna's and we were not sorry!... More

This was my first trip to NYC with my girlfriend. We are from Canada and we saw this place on Trip Advisor - great reviews. This place is actually amazing!!! We showed up later in the evening and had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated as the place was packed - always a good sign. We were... More

We were doing a walking food tour of Brooklyn and our guide bought us a pizza to eat along the promenade. It was a delicious thin crust half and half. We have eaten pizza all over the world and this was as good as any.

Probably the Best Pizza I have eaten outside of Italy and few there could compete. We had heard how great this place was and although they don't take reservations unless you are a large group and the wait can be 30 minutes plus its an absolute must after walking the Brooklyn Bridge. Pizza's are tremendous as are the salads. The... More

Hands down, Julianna's Pizza is the best pizza we have ever tried! We were in New York, from Australia, for 2 weeks and heard great things about Julianna's Pizza so figured it was a must to try. We walked in and the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes but they still let us dine in and our pizza came out... More

Went here because of TripAdvisor reviews and it was close. The pizza was very good. I will have to say that I prefer crispier crust that I have found in other restaurants. Not sure I would wait in long line to eat here again, but food was good and great service.

This was probably the best pizza I've ever had! Great service, great atmosphere, amazing pizza and the meatballs were fantastic! We queued for about 10 minutes but worth every minute and more! I wouldn't hesitate to return next time I'm back in NY.

Description
Welcome to Juliana's, a New York-style pizzeria. Juliana's heralds the return of Patsy Grimaldi-not only to the NYC restaurant scene, but to the original location under the Brooklyn Bridge where he co-founded Grimaldi's Pizzeria with his late wife, Carol. Unbeknownst to many, Pat & Carol severed their affiliation with Grimaldi's in 1999 when they sold the business (along with the name). Even though they were no longer involved in the restaurant, they never lost their passion for serving truly great pizza. And so, with a desire to re-live a "dream come true", they have partnered with close friend and former guest Matthew Grogan to establish Juliana's, a neighborhood pizzeria, preparing and serving pies the way Patsy has for generations. Named in honor of Pat's mother, Maria 'Juliana' Lancieri, Juliana's occupies 19 Old Fulton Street, in the Fulton Ferry Historic District, in the building that was once home to Grimaldi's.
