Visiting Brooklyn with my friend over Christmas she had been recommended this place and it was certainly a great recommendation. We didn't have to book or wait for a table (though it was a quiet weekday evening) and the service was incredibly quick, plus the waiter was very attentive and friendly. The pizzas are huge so for two people either... More

We decided to walk Brooklyn bridge and although it rained all day we managed to see the NY Skyline. We came across Juliana's on the way back to our water taxi. We had to wait for nearly an hour to get in for food. It was worth it and we were starving so not wasted anything. Would go again

Julianna's is a one of the best spots for pizzas, and the place is clean, cozy and the staff is friendly, worth the waiting line.

We visited here tonight after walking across the Brooklyn bridge and had a great meal. The restaurant was very busy and loud but with a good atmosphere, tables are close and service is prompt. We shared a pizza half sausage and pepperoni half margarita. Think they are about 14" thin crust with fresh made dough and toppings. It was Expensive... More

My partner & I visited this restaurant as part of a dream trip to New York. The previous day my partner had proposed to me, so we were obviously in high spirits and looking forward to a nice lunch. Everything was good, our waiter was lovely and I can't fault the food. However, I think that fact that this place... More

Dear Charlotte, I am so very sorry for the truly regrettable experience you and your fiancé had at Juliana’s recently. There really is no excuse for such inappropriate behavior. The remedy boils down to better training---and that is my responsibility. Sadly, there are times when our staff feels particularly pressured by certain of our guests to be seated as quickly... More

Visited after a walking tour of Brooklyn. I was a little worried that my friend and I would not be able to eat the whole pizza, but it was so good, we finished it so quickly. We had the Margarita pizza. The restaurant is small, but very charming and the wait staff was excellent. We waited maybe 5 minutes for... More

Such an incredible find on our stroll through Brooklyn. Definitely the best pizza I have tasted and such interesting history of the venue and the next door competition. Warning - the pizza's are so huge so if you are not used to NY sizes you may be surprised - but it is all those carbs as it is so tasty!... More

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend. The place inside was full of people so we had to wait for about 10 mins. It was really crowded since the whole place is just one "big" room. Apart from that our pizzas were huge! The wine was eccellent and the staff was super friendly. More space in the room and it... More

So all of us have had great pizza, and i for sure have had my share. I thought the pizza in Florence Italy was going to be hard to beat but Juliana's won the prize. I had a meatball, fennel sausage and Kalamata olives added to a margherita pizza. It was sublime. We arrived right at 11:30 and were about... More

Welcome to Juliana's, a New York-style pizzeria. Juliana's heralds the return of Patsy Grimaldi-not only to the NYC restaurant scene, but to the original location under the Brooklyn Bridge where he co-founded Grimaldi's Pizzeria with his late wife, Carol. Unbeknownst to many, Pat & Carol severed their affiliation with Grimaldi's in 1999 when they sold the business (along with the name). Even though they were no longer involved in the restaurant, they never lost their passion for serving truly great pizza. And so, with a desire to re-live a "dream come true", they have partnered with close friend and former guest Matthew Grogan to establish Juliana's, a neighborhood pizzeria, preparing and serving pies the way Patsy has for generations. Named in honor of Pat's mother, Maria 'Juliana' Lancieri, Juliana's occupies 19 Old Fulton Street, in the Fulton Ferry Historic District, in the building that was once home to Grimaldi's.
