Three things go against this place: 1- Pizza taste 2- Varieties 3- Cleanliness of the place For the taste, I read on Google's review "...it's not on the level it was years ago". And that is completely true. The pizza was plain and hyped that we went in with such expectations that we ended up saying 'mehh; not worth it'.... More

Best in Brooklyn. I eat there every time I go to Brooklyn. Its a classic place serving Chicago style and thin crust. Any ingredients you want. Sea food pizza, you bet.

After a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge this is a good stop for a bite to eat before heading back to Manhattan. We had 3 large pizzas between 8 of us with half and half toppings which kept everyone happy. It was a shame when we got there there was no alcohol and we only just scraped enough cash together... The pizza was good. I like Juliana's next door better. Plus they have a more extensive menu. The service was good but not really friendly.

They don't have an alcohol license, so no wine or beer, but the food & the atmosphere makes up for this. I hate plastic cutlery, plus the fact that is very environment unfriendly, but I am a European....

A good meal, indeed. But crummy service. Ignored until we asked for our water in plastic cups to be refilled. Not a fan of the paper plate gig, but I understand. Nice to try once. Won't go back. Long line outside but understandable. No photo, too hungry!

This is a fun place to go, for both locals and tourists. It's family friendly and the pizza is obvious;y authentic and delicious. The proprietor is a friendly sort who can be seen going from table to table, ensuring his guests are enjoying their experience. You may have to wait for a table, it's definitely worth your time!

The atmosphere is great and the staff very friendly. The pizza base was very tasty. The cheese was tasteless with a plastic like texture. I love mozzarella but was unable to eat this, so ended up just eating the base. I cannot understand why it is ok to be so environmentally unfriendly as to have disposable plates, cutlery and glasses... More

My friend and I came here on the recommendation of a guide. We arrived around 3.30pm and there was a queue. The first warning bell was that most of the queue were foreigners including us. After waiting about 15 minutes we were cattle called and walked into a dark, dingy, stuffy, dirty looking space that did not appeal. We also... More

Had a great dinner here in Dec '17 under the Brooklyn Bridge. We walked the bridge and were ready for a great pizza. We weren't disappointed. The surprise hit was the cannoli, the best in NYC. Make effort, it is excellent.
