Had the porterhouse for 4, with French fries, baked potato, and cheesecake for desert. Despite the reputation for surly waiters our host was excellent. The steak was good, but very fatty and not overly seasoned. An excellent meal but very straightforward. Beer selection is very...More

Wow ! If you love a great steakhouse you must visit Lugar's. Our waiter brought three salads Caesar, bacon with blue cheese and tomatoes and onions... oh and a tasty bread basket!!! We ordered two steaks for two...medium rare. The steaks were half sirloin and...More

Don't waste the perfectly cooked meat with the sauce. Just add a little bit of salt if underseasoned for you. So delicious... and for dessert, order the Key Lime Pie or their Original Cheesecake with a side serving of homemade whipped cream - Schlagg:)

We came for a birthday party. As someone that likes fillets, this place had limited options. The t-bone steak I ate was really good but very fatty.

How could anyone talk bad about this place. Very nice German experience from the second you step in the door. Steaks are amazing and very filling. One tip is dont fill up on the bread before. Save it for the steak.

This does not attempt to be a Morton's, more like a German version of a good roadside grill in Montana or Nebraska. Lots of non-steak choices, but fewer steak choices than at Sizzler or Brown Derby. The quality of the steak was good, the presentation...More

Steaks steaks and more steaks. Pricey but you get what you pay for. The steaks are among the best you will ever eat. The house steak sauce is heavenly. For steaks a night at Peter Lugers is a must do.

Corner of Broadway and Driggs Avenue. Directly across from the old Williamsburg Bank building with the large gold dome. Most GPS will get yo directions by typing in Peter Lugers. Enjoy.
