My husband and I didn't get a chance to go out to dinner for our anniversary, so we decided to make up for it. I used to take my mom to Embers for Mother's day when I was younger so we decided to go there. I got there before him and got a table. The wait staff came over to... More

The thing that makes this steakhouse special is the fact that the burgher next door is the same owner. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable

This was the go to restaurant for my wife and myself more than 25 years ago. Great steaks, great sides and great times. My son moved to Bay Ridge and I thought I'd see how this place held up. I'm happy to report it still serves good steak dinners. The waitstaff was great and very attentive. My son began with... More

We used to love and go here, and there always was a line to get in. It was a very popular steak place with a butcher store next door. While you always felt like you were dining with the people at the next table since it was very close quarters, you always knew the steak was good. Since it changed... More

My Rotary club has started a tradition of having a"Carnivore Night" each year. This year we chose to go to Embers. We had a private room and they served us family style. There were about 20 of us who went. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We were served salad, antipasto, an then a steak dinner. There was plenty... More

I saw quite a few negative reviews on this place which made me hesitant, however my fiance and I visited and we enjoyed it. The calamari is great and the chocolate martinis are AMAZING! We had the steak porterhouse for 2 and had is cooked medium-rare and it came out nicely cooked. I would visit again.

The atmosphere was very cozy and romantic. The food was top notch! It's always the small places that take their time with the food. We waited a while to be seated (5-10 minutes). My husband had the T-bone steak and I had the shrimp with filet mignon tips. We both had the fabulous mashed potatos! Drum roll pleaseeeee! The best... More

Went there for dinner and the steaks were Excellent. The service was terrible. Had to wait for drinks and had a waiter who was not attentive. But the steaks and appetizers were excellent.
