A bar that plays loud music and scolds you when you're a little loud so you can talk. Not a fan. Decent location but patrons should be treated right no matter what color you are. All money is green.

Sidecar is a little gem in Park Slope. I guess it's because I go too late in the evening that it's never so crowded...which is great! The food is never disappointing. Every single time, you get what you came for and that late night food craving will be satisfied more than any diner could deliver! I really like their burger,... More

My wife had the fried chicken and I had gumbo. Both were very good. Her sides root mash and a kale salad, both good. There is a small selection of craft beer which I enjoyed. And the wait staff, Jay and Allen were quite personable. We may very well dine there again.

Food and beer were excellent at this bustling neighborhood bar and grill. Music and noise levels were too loud for our taste, and would make us think twice about returning, but the vibe was good, the atmosphere was cheerful, and the place was doing a brisk business. Service was somewhat haphazard and very slow. Prices were moderate, maybe even a... More

Dad and son dropped in for a dozen oysters, 1.5 each, 2 burgers and some soda. The burgers and shoestring fries were great, the 71 dollar bill with tax and tip not so great.

Sidecar is an old-school Brooklyn bar with a good menu. Most of the usual suspects - burgers, fried chicken, a few salads, steak - but all well prepared. We shared a chicken liver spread on crostini, served with a small salad. Very good with beer! Hamburger was not the best ever, but quite good, and the fried chicken is excellent.... More

Went here after seeing this reviewed on food network a while ago, Had the fried oysters and Brussel sprouts appetizers, they were both delicious. Two of us had the fried chicken, which was awesome. Great crunch and juicy chicken, even the breast. Another of our party had the duck special which was pan seared duck breast with a turnip Au... More

We had gambas and ordered a bottle of riesling after having tried to read the menu in a very dark place for a restaurant. The gambas were good but few 5 off xand 3 small toasts. It was OK for our hunger. The botle of riesling turned out to be half a bootle. The waiter presented the check before we... More

Stopped in one late afternoon with my daughter for a drink. We sat in the back patio, which is a great space to relax and talk. The drinks were good, but on the pricey side. My second visit was for dinner on a Thursday evening. I was seated at the back bar, where you can watch the chefs prepare the... More
