My son suggested this on our recent visit and we were not disappointed. They don't take reservations, but the hostess kept checking and updating us on the likely wait time. It wasn't long. We choose 5 or 6 dishes for four, along with two bottles of wine. It was cozy and friendly. In fact, I couldn't find my gloves when... More

I'm a Brooklyn local, and I am never disappointed at a meal at Olea. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The waitstaff is excellent. The prices are reasonable, and you never have to wait long for a table. The menu is diverse and everything is delicious. It's the kind of place where vegetable-is-king and a salad is more than just... More

Gorgeous, sexy little neighborhood resto in Ft. Greene that made me feel like I was whisked away to Spain. The food here is to die for and is priced just right. Be sure to try the fried Brussels sprouts appetizer, the chicken paella, and the orrechiete pasta dish.

Went to Olea last year around this time for Happy Hour upon arriving in Brooklyn. Liked it so much that when local friends suggested doing Brunch, we didn't want to pass it up. Were not disappointed! Started off with Bloody Mary's all around. Our friends ordered the Lamb Hash, Chicken Empanadas and the Turkish Breakfast. We shared the Fried Green... More

We visited this restaurant while visiting Brooklyn recently on the recommendation of a Bklyn friend. Our friend did us a favor as we had a wonderful early evening meal here. Since we are light eaters, we shared a couple of appetizers (bacon-wrapped dates and goat cheese croquette) and the Arctic Char. Delightful! Well worth the visit.

A friend of a friend recommended this place to me as being a great restaurant near where I lived. I was happily surprised to find that this place was awesome! You walk in and the decor is cute and interesting - paper star lights, multi-colored cushions along the bench seating, a few tables set up outdoors in good weather. It... More

Location and size are the best of this restaurant that claims to serve Mediterranean cuisine. Not for my standards. The décor doesn't provide comfort and the service is average at best. Food (presentation, preparation and taste) has nothing of memorable. Prices are OK for what you get, considering the overall quality.

Stopped here to eat before seeing a show at the Barclays centre, probably about a 10 min walk away, we shared 5 tapas between us and a desert and were both full at the end. The dates with bacon, cheese croquettes and meatballs were our favourites.

i went with a local and we sat at the bar because it was crowded, and found out it was popular for good reason. vegan options are available. very easy to be served and the food was really excellent, first rate actually. large enough portions to share. atmosphere is lively and bustling.

Great Bloody Mary drinks and menu. We had Green eggs and lamb, frittata (which was outstanding), polenta and eggs.
