I rolled into town quite late, but had seen this place online and wanted to check it out. I saw they were about to close in 5 minutes but ran in to see if I could grab a bakery item. Super delicious place and they even gave me a free cinnimon roll! Nice kids working there and it's convenient for... More

Always fresh - always consistent. Sandwiches are made fresh to order on bread baked in the store. Big selection of soups and make sure you get a cookie for dessert. I highly recommend the sugar cookies but you can't go wrong with any of them. Fast and friendly service and friendly to your wallet!

My husband and I were staying at a hotel across the street and decided to visit the bakery for dinner. There was tape across all the doors like the place was under construction. It turned out it was Halloween decorations, but you couldn't tell from the outside. The first thing we noticed was all the dirty tables, but we forged... More

Avoid the lunch hour if you can, service is exceptional, sandwiches and soups spectacular, but everybody comes here for lunch.Plenty of dining area and lots to choose from.

The sandwiches and cookies were great, but the soup too salty to eat and didn't have much flavor other than salt. The tables were sticky.

Soups, pumpkin squares, bread is yummy! But I def. think Kneaders has better quality. Flies were EVERYWHERE! Very irritating when trying to enjoy your meal.

We always check TripAdvisor before selecting lodging, dining, things to do and more. Reviews for Old Grist were good, in fact, it was rated best bakery in town. Unfortunately we were looking for dinner. When we arrived at the counter, we had difficulty understanding what was available and how to order (i.e. what kinds of sandwiches, what kind of bread,... Saw they had scones and had to pass on way out of rv park, to get on road. Scones were not up to our expectations. Dry, crumbly, not impressed. Course I make excellent scones, plus, if you are used to scones from the Midwest, these are not what you will expect. Would not go back.

We love homemade soup & the white bean & ham soup was delicious! Had a bowl of Cole Slaw with it & some garlic bread & it was all very good. Highly recommended - good food - good service - good beer!!
