I think this may be the only coffee in town, but is certainly the best. Great local brews, wonderful people. In December we hung here with the locals, very friendly and not pretentious.

A great place to catch wifi and enjoy coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, and lake views. Whenever I'm in Grand Marais, the Java Moose is a regular stop for me for a quick lunch and perusal of the community postings.
Mix with the locals and tourists alike at this spot. Great Coffee, nice location. Waterfront location closes in the off season, but main coffee bar is open at the corner year around.
Java Moose is a local treasure - casual cafe with great freshly brewed coffee, tea, and hot chocolate as well as homemade soups, chili, sandwiches, ice cream and bakery. Dine in or take out.
Nice coffee, tea, and pastries with a beautiful view of the bay in Grand Marais. Seating inside, and out.
When you enter the door you will feel like you should be in line with Matthew Matheau and John Lemmon as a guest star in Grumpy Old Men. This is how every true Minnesotan Coffee shop should be. The décor is not to be missed...More
Thank Logan for stopping in AND appreciating our decor:) We strive to not only create great beverages, but also to make everyone feel at home in the North Woods. Appreciate your business and taking the time to review us!
Nice coffee house, cute decorations. We had a cold press and italian soda. It was good and was nice to go into a place to sit and take a break from the walking.
Great coffee/espresso drinks and delicious muffins too! Sit outside and enjoy views of Lake Superior and the bay in Grand Marais.
It's a predictably good place for a cup of coffee. Lots of seating (various areas), including outside. I am not a huge coffee drinker but it's the place where we "once locals" like to meet when we "go home."
