Great food. Turkey breast sandwich fresh moist, tomatoes succulent with a great cheese. The turkey wild rice soup had a very nice sweetness to it. I only had a spoonful, my wife was not sharing alot because she really enjoyed it.

I was surprised by the quality of food available in this small town. Dinner was prepared with great quality and fresh ingredients. Gourmet type preparation. Portions were just right. I did not leave feeling hungry.
By itself, it is worth a return trip to Grand Marais. Big city quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. The variety on the menu was a pleasant surprise and made deciding on a meal more difficult.

Our party of two visited this café for lunch. Short 15 minute wait. We both had the special, which was a pulled pork sandwich on chibata , with Carolina vinegar sauce, lettuce and tomatoe. Excellent. Also great craft draft beers.
