We wanted to go on a picnic at Cades Cove so we stopped here for snadwiches. They were very good as was the potatoe salad and deviled eggs. The best part was getting to talk to the gentleman who waited on us. He was full of helpful tints and information about where to go in the park and what was... More

This place seems like it hasn't really changed since the 70's... in the best way possible. Owner was very personable, sandwiches and sides were great. Overall great experience and we will be back. TIP- Parking is in the lot BEFORE Hillbilly Golf. Your $.75 is refunded when you eat at the deli.

We were coming to Gatlinburg for years before we finally ventured inside this little gem. A local favorite, I guess they're known for their steamed sub sandwiches but we haven't tried those, opting instead for the chili dogs with slaw which are excellent. They've got some great unusual sides like deviled eggs and homemade lemon cake. Expect a line if... More

The Best Sandwich me and my wife has ever had. 👍 Will go there every chance we get when we visit Gatlinburg. I'm getting hungry just thinking about this place.

We always try to eat where the locals eat. This is the place. It's a one-man operation so don't expect lightning-fast service. He's not slow, he just makes your sandwich to your specifications. If you are not used to home-made potato salad, buy it as a side and you won't be disappointed. The owner takes cash only, but the signs... More

You have to try a steamed sub if you are visiting Gatlinburg. The Reuben and Italian subs are my favorites. Watching the owner prepare your sub in this antique machine is an experience you will never forget

We asked the desk clerk at hotel for a good place to eat. They recommended you. The kids loved the hot dogs, while we enjoyed the hot sandwiches. Great local establishment.

Love this place! Took the kids this time. We had a Rueben, pastrami, ham and turkey. We had deviled eggs, potato salad and chips for sides. The boys thought it was really good too! The owner only takes cash so have some on hand. Parking down the street for .75.

Great for sandwiches, but parking is a huge problem - if you can walk to it, I highly recommend it, otherwise have someone run in and get the items while the driver waits in the car. Located on the main road US 321 at the Pigeon Forge side of Gatlinburg.
