Not easy to find, tucked away in its little corner of Gatlinburg, but very worth the find. French onion soup and steaks are the stars, but many other good selections. Whatever you do, save room for the truly homemade desserts; and no matter which you...More

The food was great but the best was the bartender Becky who owns the restaurant with her husband Dave. She introduced me to all her friends who came in. She told me how to avoid all the traffic on the Parkway. One of the best...More

We went for a dinner when in town. The building was very old and rustic inside and outside. Tables along the windows had a good view of the woods down the hill. The food price was on the high side for the type of town...More

Just don't. This place is SO outdated, dark, drab, and felt dirty. The food was also poor. Mushy rice, veggies. I ate the Chicken Vera Cruz which was chicken breast with a crab dressing and a white wine cream sauce. It was not good at...More

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The prime rib was delicious and the chicken Vera Cruz with the crabmeat stuffing was amazing. The staff was super friendly and attentive and the view from the...More

We ate here for Mothers Day and were very disappointed for $128.00. The salad has lettuce, croutons and one or two pieces of onion. The deep fried lobster should be served with remoulade sauce instead of drawn butter and definitely needs some kind of seasoning....More

Went to another restaurant that was busy and the owner recommended the Greenbrier. It's off the beaten path, but well worth it. Their steaks and trout are excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and has a great view. One of the best restaurants in Eastern TN.

This place is charming and out of the craziness and overly touristed town of Gatlinburg. the food was excellent, the ambience relaxing and service was attentive. The trout was fresh and quite good the vegetables are some of the best I've had anywhere in the...More

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend but I was disappointed as the place is badly in need of some renovation. This is an old time restaurant with the old standards on the menu and apparently no younger people working there. The food was...More

Arrived in Gatlinburg late on a Saturday and wanted a quiet place for dinner away from the crowds and traffic. Enjoyed the short trek up the hill to this little gem. Offers something different than the standard fare in Gatlinburg.

My fiance and I are eloping in Gatlinburg in 2017 is this a good fit? We wanted a nice fancy dinner with a romantic feel and great views. Does anyone know if their is a strictly enforced dress code? My fiance and I will probably still be in a dress and tuxe.

I know that we ordered appetizers in the bar, but the bar is pretty small. I think that, even if you could, you would want the larger table and more space to be comfortable for dinner.
Do you provide a option of family style for groups of 20 or more for a party after a renew of vows?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by family style. The restaurant does have plenty of room to host the party size you described. I think it would be a beautiful place to return to after a vow renewal ceremony. I don't... More
