I'm a longtime patron and everything was as superb as always. However, due to the wildfires in 2016, the service industry has fallen apart and wait staff is almost non existent due to exorbitant rents and lack of housing. So, YOU MUST MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR ANY SIZE PARTY AT LEAST ONE DAY IN ADVANCE unless you want to wait 1-2... More

What a delight to find Wild Plum Tea Room!! Be certain to make your reservations 24 hours before you want to visit! Strata and fresh fruit, chicken salad with green salad are spectacular. We were warmly greeted by Sherry who patiently and professionally explained the menu and Wild Plum Tea!!! Love, love, love Tea Rooms. This is one of the... More

We look forward to the fresh and innovative food served here. The original owner since 1984 is still here. The salads, soups, and sandwiches are all homemade and delicious. Due to some problem since the fire, the restaurant was short on employees and we waited an hour. Be sure to call early and make a reservation.

Having spent 30 years in the restaurant business I understand staffing problems. WhatI don't understand is lack of communication to Customers. We arrived for a later lunch and were #3 on the waiting list. Hostess greeted us and disappeared never to be seen again. After 40 plus minutes we left. There were signs saying they had a server shortage which... More

Unfortunately, the tea room is not what it used to be. My wife and I have visited the tea room many times and have always enjoyed it. This time, however, not so much. First, when we arrived at 11:15 am, there was a sign stating that due to the wildfires last November, they were having trouble hiring wait staff. So,... More

Everything was unique and perfect. My Mom's 86th birthday lunch. Sherry was amazingly descriptive of our choices, no menu needed. I had the yellowfin tuna and quinoa, Mom had chicken salad and gazpacho and sis had the Salmon burger with salad. The wild plum tea was some of the best tea I've ever had. And the amaretto bread pudding, ooooh.... More
