This was very convenient to my hotel so I decided to try it. I enjoyed the bread and salad. The dressing was good. My steak was cooked just right. The whipped potatoes were tasty too. I ate in the bar area so I didn't have to wait to be seated. They bartender was really cute and very nice.

Tiring drive to Greensboro. We ate dinner in the bar area and were so grateful the bartender/waiter let us take our time. Relaxing!

Been to numerous steakhouses like this one, and was very pleased with the fare. Surf & Turf was very good (Filet was excellent while the tail was small but tasty). Wife had shrimp and was very pleased.

This place was just ok. Steak was a little tough. But ok. The chili was bland. Waitress not too attentive. Ran out of water and never came back to ask if we needed refill, our check was not correct. We were overcharged. Not a return for us here.

We arrived before dinner time on a weekday, hoping for no problems. Our pleasant server, George, took our drink & appetizer orders quickly, bringing our drinks soon after. Several minutes later, another staffer--unsure if wait staff or managerial--quickly placed our appetizer with no comment. By 30 minutes after our arrival, the restaurant was about 1/2 full, and service was slowing... More

Not great - loads of places to eat down this street so I would pick somewhere else because at best it's just average. Overcooked vegetables and heavy food - warm yeast rolls were nice - not much selection of draft beers either.

When Lone Star closed their Battleground Ave location, we became regulars at another chain steakhouse on Battleground. But last night, that restaurant wasn't able to accommodate our large group, so we decided to drive across town to visit Greensboro's remaining Lone Star restaurant on Gate City Blvd, which I didn't realize was there until someone else suggested it. I'm glad... More

The steak was tasty, prepared the way I requested, and the baked potato was one of the best I have had in many, many years! The staff seemed to short handed that day or not intent on refilling drinks. We had to stop them and ask for a refill. The other downside was the smelly carpet in the front area... More

I gave this a 3 because the waiter and manager tried to make things better, but couldn't seem to; I probably would have given it 1 star. **The good: the yeast rolls and the beer. **The Average: Caesar salad was seriously average. My delmonico was average - cooked right, extra fatty and seemed smaller than the 12 oz advertised. **The... More
