We were staying at the O.Henry and ate our evening meal at the Green Valley Grill. The food was excellent. The two of us had filet or prime rib. Both were very good. The service was impeccable. The prices were a little high to us, but probably in line with the top tier dining options at luxury hotels.

GVG is a very classy restaurant that has a casual air to it. I love the ambiance of the restaurant with its soaring ceiling and combination of brick and wood. Service is very friendly and efficient. The food is outstanding using local ingredients whenever possible. The menu rotates seasonally with a few standard choices. Terrific starters salads, entrees, and sandwiches.... More

As a Greensboro local, this is one of my favorite places for all meals when I want to make them special. At breakfast, the frittata is a don't miss. The kitchen is reliable and outstanding. The short ribs are great for those who love ribs and if meat isn't your preference they also typically have a vegetarian option. The chef... More

Nice place to take out-of-town-guests. They are pretty stingy with bread though! Nice wine selection. Be careful what you order.

There are so any other great restaurants in Greensboro, this is never my first choice. I usually go there when other people make the plans. The menu seems to always be the same. I would expect it to change from time to timebased on local or seasonal ingredients, but no. Everything is pretty heavy to. I usually get the Mediterranean... More

One of our top spots for special dinners is the Green Valley Grill. We were recently there with our daughters and it was fantastic as always! Service is impeccable, menu is first class, and the food is fabulous. You can't go wrong when you have someone in from out of town and want to impress them.

Very nice place with a holiday vibe that was just right for the day after Christmas. Beautifully prepared pecan-crusted trout and a well-made Manhattan!
