Oh Smith Street, how I love you. Between the enormous biscuits, best pancakes of my life, and wide selection, we go here as often as we are either 1.) willing to wait in line, or 2.) get up and ready for breakfast before 10 on a weekend. The place is always slammed, and rightfully so - the food is incredible,... More

Had a long night out and was up early and enjoyed the breakfast very much. Very friendly staff and the place was packed, which speaks for itself.

An echo of everyone else's comments. Good food, decent prices, fast service, and friendly staff. Enough said.

Busy diner. Southern cookin'. Very friendly waitstaff. Large portions. I got daily brisket special with a side of slaw, mac & cheese, & big old piece of cornbread. My friend got baked chicken. No frills. Noisy. Just like being home.

We stopped on our way out of town because the reviews were so good. We will definitely be back. Our omelets were amazing and the wait staff was great. We couldn't have asked for better.

Smith Street is a local institution and has been a long time favorite, especially their homemade soup and their infamous biscuits, which are huge!! Lately though I find the food inconsistent for the pricing and the wait. At times my eggs have not been well prepared or the biscuit has been cold. I continue to have great experiences consistently with... More

The wife and I have been there several times for Breakfast and Lunch. The food is very good but we especially like the breakfast. Homemade Biscuits and Gravy is my favorite with eggs. The Biscuits are huge a meal in it self. The lunch specials are also very good. We plan on going back for more of the good food.

I really like this place but the breakfast food could be better. I visited twice and ordered the same thing. A three egg omelette with onions, mushrooms, and cheese, home fries, and sausage patties. The portions are large and very filling. The onions and mushrooms were really carmelized which I am not used to getting with eggs. I like them... More

I loved this place--had pre game breakfast here and it was just what you might hope for. Good food, great prices and friendly service. I want to go back at dinner time for the fried chicken! Be smart about planning when you;re going--it is always busy!
