There's nothing extraordinary here, unless you're looking for vary large portions. It was busy the day I had lunch here, probably because of its convenience to stores.

My Team and I were on a business trip for two weeks in Independence. We dined at 54th Street Bar and Grill four times. The menu offers something for everyone! The Gringo Dip is reknown as an appetizer! The sandwiches, burgers and salads are all delish! The. Complimentary bread with honey butter is like cake...The service is flawless! Attentive, fast... Ok, its a chain restaurant, so you can't expect wonders. Beer selection was better than expected with several local brews. No worries there. Beer price was in line with the city. Food menu was pretty large and diversified. If you can't find something to eat here, you must not be hungry. Wife and I got the three course package deal.... More

Lack of remembering your own menus, I.e. you need to remember that on a 3 course meal it is supposed to come with a dessert. No need to remind you of much more than that. Did was cooked well and other than reminder of the dessert, service was excellent.

Quick mid afternoon meal. Wanted simple burger to leave room for later at the ball game. Burger done as ordered, hot and juicy. Steak fajitas were hot and veggies sautéed great. Service was so-so. Took 20 minutes to get a beer.

Large menu to choose from. Everyone can find something! Excellent food and staff was outstanding. I will definitely stop anytime traveling again. Wings are awesome and their cheese dip is amazing.

Stopped for lunch. Wai for a tabke was to be 20 min so we sat at a delightful bar to eat. Serviced immediately. Did not take long for a generpos liunch to arrive. The decor keeps your attention until food arrives. Nostalgic fun.

Our wait was minimal (10-15 minutes less than what we were told). Our server, Moses was exceptional. We never had to ask for anything, he anticipated all of our needs. The food was delicious. My husband said it was probably the best seasoned steak he'd ever had. I had the tilapia and it was wonderful. Both children enjoyed their meals... More
