Great food. As others recommended, the pork ribs did not disappoint. Nice spot for food and I'll be back next time.

This place is behind some accommodation we found it by chance walking along the road. The views are beautiful especially in the evening with a gentle breeze. We had the pork ribs which were plenty and so delicious but thought we might try the club sandwich also as the other party had never eaten a sandwich he rated it 10/10 I took mine home for supper. What a great find!

This is where I went to get my western food fix. Loved the chicken fingers and onion rings! Came back the next day for more snacks mad the breathtaking views of the volcanos. Sweet staff.

We read the positive reviews and were excited to dine at Don Biyu. When we arrived they acted like they were not open. Service was very slow even though our party was the only group there. Soon two others came in to dine. The waiter did not speak any English and acted like a deer in the headlights. What ever question we had, she had to run to the kitchen for answers. There is no bar service, only beer, Bintang. Not even wine, although it is offered on the last page of the menu. Most entrees were around 87,000 to 89, 000 rupiahs. Out of the 8 people in the group, only 2 enjoyed their meal. They ordered the pasta with shrimp and the BBQ pork ribs. My pork loin was over cooked, dry and very tough, with no other food on the plate. Just three small pieces. The chicken with soup was edible but nothing special. Meals were brought out slowly with mine first. By the time the pasta dish arrived, I had finished my meal. The toilet was not very clean, not suitable for diners. I really don’t know why this meal went so poorly, except to assume it may have recently changed owners or the regular staff had the night off. The only positive thing about the place is the large palapa and the basket-covered lighting, and of course the view. Wish I could offer more praise but wanted to accurately detail our experience at Don Biyu.

The place has very nice view of Mount Watukaru and is located around 2 hours away from Denpasar passing Bedugul and two other lakes.
We spent Christmas there and were the only guests of the inn. Since it was a special occasion, the owner decided to cook nice dinner to the family including us. One of his favourite dish, chicken cordon bleu.

Munduk village is a cool area, very clean and quite well managed village. I saw some guest houses and tourist centernon the way to Don Biyu.
Don Biyu itself is a small village "resort" offering fullboard rooms for your stay.
As myself only took a visit, tried its famous very smell coffee with some traditional fried snacks talking with old friends of mine.
It was like a small reunion.
And after that we are treated an early dinner with a full course of kampong/village meals. Plain rice, kampong nuts and leaf kampong soup, fish spicy steam wrapped in banana leaves (pepes ikan), chicken slices (ayam suwir), fried tempeh with soy sauce chilly dip, and vegetables with coconut sauce (urap).
That was one if the best of kampong meals I ever tasted. Quite satisfying and a memorable one.
No wonder a group of my friends said good things about this place 2 years ago when they had stayed there.
I reccomended this place.

We visited here while in munduk and were not disappointed. I had the BBQ ribs which were excellent, and my partner had the tomato pasta which was also very tasty. Best of all is the view across the valley and mountains, a really great setting. The service was also very good, food was quick in being prepared and tasted very fresh. Would definitely recommend it you're visiting the town.

Just outside our hotel this small restaurant caught out attention. It was pretty empty, low season in Bali, I was a bit worried about not getting fresh food in low season, but it was really good. The nasi rendang was great, as were the tenderloin satahs. Really nice place and sweet staff.

They serve variety of food. Their signature dish is pork ribs. But because I tend not to eat meat, I ordered other options on the menu. Kangkung plencing (water cress) was delicious. Nasi goreng was everyone's favourite. Their pisang goreng (fried bananas) was the best in the world, quoting my daughter.
The staffs were friendly and helpful. The overall service was good and quick. You could order the food tailored made to what you wanted.
For coffee, they make it traditional way. The owner also has coffee plantation. Munduk area produces the best coffee in Bali. You could probably ask for their special coffee Blue Tamblingan.

Restaurant offers scenic view over the paddy terraces and mountains. We ordered Nasi Betutu with kuah and Pork sate with rice which were not up to our expectations.

Munduk is one of my favorite places in Bali. Don Biyu is probably the best place to have meals. In fact, we were staying there for a couple of daya (they have some rooms to rent). So, we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. We did not bother to go somewhere else to eat. The staffs were so friendly and helpful, the service was also quick. The most important was that the food and coffee were great. It can be tailor made to how we wanted it. They also have the best view of Mount Watukaru.

Last week I stayed overnight at Don Biyu with 8 friends and discovered such breathtaking view of the 3 mountains aligned with Mt. Batukaru, surrounded by lush Clover spice forests, whilst had a chance to sit in cool mountain breeze, gazing at Tamblingan and Buyan lakes on the way there. Perched at Don Biyus homestay balcony i sat unmoving, mesmerized from 5.30-6.30 am witnessing daybreak play itself before my eyes with bird songs and calming prayer bells...amaaazing, especially for nature lovers--Ayam betutu and locally spiced pork steak at Don Biyu's restaurant topped it all!!!

Had a lunch here, club sandwich for me and chicken thigh for my girlfrend.
Great place, nice view and a very wide range of meals on the menu. Indonesian and european style. Our meals both came with very good potato wedges. Next time I'm going to order an extra portion!

We have enjoyed great food and service here on many occasions. There is a breathtaking view from the raised dining area. Close to Munduk village which fully deserved a leisurely inspection.

There isn't much places to go until munduk for dinner but this place was one of the nicest visited here twice. At night all you can hear are the frogs and crickets totally out in the wilderness food was cheap and fresh. We did have a few power cuts whilst there but they only lasted a brief minute and you are after all in the mountains !
